The guy's name is Ghost. He was never portrayed as some overly friendly guy. He grew up with Tommy as his best friend & Angie as his wifey. His other two friends were Julio & Rolla, who are both now deceased. He took over Kanan's operations and expanded it.

The fact that no one could tell you who Ghost actually was let's me know he wasn't running around the streets, being cool with everyone he came across with. All he needed was 1-2 good friends and his lady.

Tasha was the one that wanted Ghost to be on top so he brainwashed him to get rid of 50, but it was all a coverup to avoid telling Ghost 50 is the twins Father. So Ghost thought Riq was his son but it's his nephew.
