R.I.P. PAUL WALKER

you can fight it, but it IS pretty queer bro as a grown man to shed tears and catch those feels over another grown man that you didnt even know. like not even just that you didnt know him, he didnt know you either. like, no matter how many stories you've read, google searches you've done, movies you've watched and whatever, you still didn't actually know dude, you just knew of dude, you knew he was out there, you knew he existed, but to claim him like a friend...you hella fatal attractioning b. Say dude didn't die, but was just hurt, but bound to make a full recovery, would you have sent get well soon balloons and a stuffed bear to his hospital room? its ok if you're ayo bro, we aren't here to judge, just to get a better understanding of the tendencies.

So all those people who went to the site and cried outside women are queer?

Will everyone who cries at Fast 7 also be queer?

Serious question

I'm saying though. Nobody had a problem when Michael Jackson died and people reflected back on his life/career.

Whats so different now? For a lot of people This dude was a symbol or representation of something positive, on the screen or off the screen. He was an inspiration, and apparently a really great guy in real life.

Whats wrong with people feeling bad about another person dying?

Now beat it suckas

are you seriously comparing the loss of michael jackson to the loss of paul walker? Interesting.

are you seriously comparing the loss of michael jackson to the loss of paul walker? Interesting.

same thing I was thinking

I understand Paul hit a lot of people especially in the car world (even me)

but MJ was the most famous person in the world and one of the most influential people in the world

They both ate, slept, took a ****, bled, and cried, just like any other human being.

They were both made of flesh and bones, just like us.

What makes one death so much more important than the other?

If one heart loved you and a thousand loved me, does that make your death insignificant in comparison to my own? Not at all.

They were both great people, and in the grand scheme of things their deaths are equal. They are easily comparable. Everything else is irrelevant to that main point.

no. all of those outside of family, friends and acquaintances, yes. it's an unnatural emotional response to someone you weren't close to. You were close to brian o'conner. you were not close to paul walker. People felt bad when wallace died. Nobody gave a **** that michael b. jordan was still alive and well walking around.

Yeah dudes crying over someone they dont know is a little stupid in my opinion.

Not bashing him but all anyone really knows him from is from F&F series.

Then again i haven't seen a fast and furious movie in years, dont care for em.

you've mentioned shedding tears for the man. thats suspect imo because you didnt even know him. i can understand mourning his loss, but that just seems a little weird.

also, im not sure why you're so fixated with every one of my posts, but its flattering. & me stating my opposing views on a subject is not trolling bruh.

Shedding tears at Fast 7; that's suspect?

Suspect would be calling that suspect; some people have thick skin bruh

Were people in tears watching the Dark Knight? srs

I was heartbroken the entire film, and I am not joking, or in love with any males.

I get your point about looks in this world, duly noted, but sometimes, you actually enjoy someone's work.

Aaliyah was just cast for the Matrix sequels. Had a new album, I was excited to see her career and where it would lead.

Heath was CRUSHING the Dark Knight. Everyone knew his role was going to be big, the rumors were everywhere.

I've been with the Fast series since the first one. I watched it in theaters. The only one I have not seen in theaters, #3 when Walker and Dom weren't in it. (til I found out a lil somethin at the end and then rushed to get the DVD when it came out)

I, and some others on this board, are HUGE fans of the series and were extremely excited for Fast 7, and rumors have even been building that there would be a Fast 8, 9 and even 10!!!! I can't tell you how excited I am for Fast 7, and now............now that changes. Paul's death suddenly affects everything I was excited for, and it's not just him alone that I enjoy those movies for. He was simply a very big part of it.

Everyone got excited to see Vin, Paul, Michelle, and Jordana back for 4. When Five came out, and Tyrese, Han, and Luda joined the cast along with the Rock, I could barely contain my excitement. Six, same thing. It's the whole group, the whole cast that makes these movies go. Not just Paul alone.

A series that I have followed for 13 years now has a HUGE hole in it. And that, affects me. I'm glad he was a good dude, and good father, all that, but I'm not tryna date the guy. I loved his work.

To put this into a perspective, I was equally devastated when Magic had to retire in 91. He was still alive, but I could no longer watch his work, that I enjoyed.
Now, same thing for the Fast and Furious franchise that I have followed for so long.

And not seeing where Heath's career could have gone is the same thing. I may not have cried like a baby at TDK, but I was choked up the entire movie. And everytime I watch it, while giddy over the performance, I still feel that pang of sadness that Heath is gone.

nobody is making paul walkers death out to be insignificant. yes they were both men. but one had a larger following than the other. therefor it is logical to assume michael jacksons passing would have a larger impact, as it did. that is why comparing the mourning of these two individuals as similar, is ridiculous imo.

Showing up to the crash site & crying is a little much. I can understand why people would want to, but yeah you can bring up the point "you didn't know him personally so why?"

Seeing him in Fast 7 will be different though, cause you know they're going to put in a tear-jerking conclusion or tribute reel to him. I bet even people who don't care about the movies or his death will catch the feels if they see the movie, as long as they know the circumstances

I was genuinely upset that Wallace died for about a few hours...

Not enough to cry, doe...

"Where's Wallace, String?!?!"

Had me with the :( face.

I appreciate your input dude. Now THAT, makes sense. So many posters in here have posted nonsensical comments and whatnot riddled with such emotion and sadness but no reasoning behind it. which was what made me question everything in the first place. I wanted to know where all the emotion was stemming from. Thanks for addressing that respectfully.

Who said they are similar? You did

Also you are on a board where the Fast and Furious movies skew a significant amount of the population

Come on man, I don't want to put words in your mouth, but you're basically coming in here (an RIP Paul Walker thread) asking why would you cry over the death of another man you didn't know, then saying it was acceptable for people to do it for MJ... because he was a bigger icon.

Like people have stated it doesn't matter. For all the good he did, Paul Walker deserves to be mourned just as much as MJ... just like the next good-hearted guy who passes but nobody hears about deserves to be mourned just as much as Paul Walker.

i did not, idk where you've gotten that from.

also, why should that matter? we should still be able to have opposing views and discuss them like adults, without trying to start flame wars and attack everyone who doesnt side with you.

someone compared the world mourning MJ's death to Paul walkers. they are very different for a number of reasons. if you cannot understand that then idk what to tell you.

This is how you started this discussion. PRIME wasn't comparing the world mourning MJ's death to Paul's in terms of size or anything trivial btw... he was comparing the motivation why people do it being the same. If you can't see why people would take this and your proceeding comments as disrespectful, I don't know what to tell you.

When Johnny Depp dies, people will mourn him too, you going to come at them sideways about it too?

Just seen the picture before they covered up the bodies with a tarp. Damn...

In that same vein, It's YOU who cannot understand all the reasons MJ's death and Paul walker's death are the same.

also, there may have been another goodhearted guy that passed the same day. in the same car. but people are too busy claiming that paul walker was only flesh and blood like every other person (except son that was driving). does anyone even know his name? he deserves to be mourned in the same fashion as michael jackson and paul walker right?

You ever see Roger Rojas or anything he's done?

Have you followed his career for the past 15+ years thru various films you've enjoyed?

How do we mourn someone we do not know, or have ever seen until this accident? People pay their respects, and leave it at that, that's all we can do.

How are you this clueless?

comparing the MOURNERS. not their deaths.

do ya'll even read posts or do you just skim through it?

exactly. isnt it safe to say more people were familiar with michael jackson than paul walker?

maybe thats why more people mourned his death. it makes sense right?

Yes, he does deserve it... if he was as good of a person as Paul. But no one is trying to minimize Roger Rodas' life or death... they're just (unfortunately and unfairly) not paying as much attention to him because he wasn't famous or his good deeds aren't being told through the press as much as Paul's.
