R Kelly is a sick and sadistic individual

Investigation should have started after he pitched that trapped in the closet series. I remember the first few parts of that being funny and interesting, but when I clicked back and saw he was on part 29 I knew he was capable of anything.

That's literally what was said in trial. Watch the damn vid.
First of all that was not “literally” what was said in that video. Its the adjectives used. I wasn’t ready. You didn’t have to go full Pulitzer, bruh.

Secondly, the skeptic in me dont want to believe that. If anyone is going to be homophobic, its going to be a 17 year old boy. That conversation sounded like a bad, motel room porno. Even at 17 dude should’ve know things were going south when he asked what was he willing to do for music. Who says **** like that to give? But who knows, with all the stuff coming out, its not that far fetched.

Kind of hypocritical how we admire and celebrate Jay-Z, but excoriate R. Kelly (justifiably so).

Here's a tough pill to swallow--the people LOVE Jay-Z too much to "cancel" him. We're selective with who we "cancel".

We have proof about anything or he did because Nas said so in a diss song?

and are we cancelling everyone who's worked with Jay-Z, including Nas since he's worked with both?

Isn’t this the same as saying, “ I don’t listen to r Kelly anymore.”
What did you call it? Virtue signaling?

I don't think me saying/acknowledging something is foul regardless if it happens to someone you support or don't support is virtue signaling.

1. It is in response to a post ("HOw can you still listen to R. Kelly is usually said unprovoked).

2. Which virtue am I signaling attention for exactly? Consistency?

The "virtue signaling" call-out guys are usually definitely virtue signaling on their own just to a different audience.

because that conversation has everything to do with Nas
The talk about Jay knowing about R. Kelly getting with minors or being suspect himself is separate from any Nas diss song.

Also who said anything about cancelling other ppl that worked with the accused?

Cuz nobody has said if you worked with R. Kelly you should be cancelled too.

Jay and R. Kelly did two albums together and went on tour. That's where Jay knowing about Kelly stems from. Dude was close to Aaliyah and knew about that situation and still worked with Kelly.

That doesn't have anything to do with Nas.

It does when you accuse someone of being a pedophile because of something said in a diss song or did you miss that weeks old discussion you just tried to drag up?

and I was mocking how silly the discussion is, since Nas also knew and worked with both.

I still don't know what Nas diss song you're even talking about.

Only thing I remember Nas saying regarding that was on the radio in the middle of that beef when he said Jay knew R. Kelly had young girls sitting on his lap in the studio.

Jay being called a pedo or knowing full well R. Kelly was one don't got nothing to do with Nas. Everything I just mentioned didn't come from Nas. Foxxy, Aaliyah, making two albums together, the tour, etc.

dude is a peeping Tom on a peeping tom chat line

Jay is beyond “cancelling” imo. He doesn’t eat off his name anymore. He eats off business ventures not tied to his name. We can stop listening to his music but I have Spotify and most of his music isn’t even on there.
