Yeah , I think most figured his streams would go up.
A LOT of people last night were going back to stream his music to catch underlying tones, straight up pedo lyrics and **** about Aaliyah.
But streams going up as a trade off for him not being able to get shows any more is good with me.
Not being able to perform long term will hurt his pickets more than 2 weeks of increase streams will help

On a lower level, 10th graders use to drive around and post up at the middle school near my house for the "let out." Sad looking back on it but those girls ate it up since those dudes had cars

I said John Legend isnt about black culture (look at his wife) so speaking out against R. Kelly was an easy decisions for him publicly, unlike others like Jay-Z, Diddy, etc who would have reservations about publicly outing him because they to a certain extent want to protect black culture.
Dont get it twisted, R. Kelly is a predator Im not saying otherwise, but seeing John Legend in there as the only black man celebrity I understand why he did it, because he dont give a damn about black culture.

His pockets will feel it, any shows / album sales , etc. before this week are irrelevant to what happens after this week.
More and more people are learning and getting upset. This might be the positive side of groupthink .
