"Racism is as American as baseball"

What’s with the new twist of wording like “race theory”? It’s fact that whites put native Americans in concentration camps.
It’s fact that whites burned down black wall street in Tulsa. It’s fact that whites stormed the capital on Jan 6th. It’s fact that white men tried their best to keep slavery going.

Right.
Maybe I'm just ignorant but I though all the "race theory" stuff just boil down to teaching history and political science correctly?

From everything I’ve gathered, the use of the word “race theory” has been misconstrued as much as the word “patriot” or “American” for starters. Essentially, they (white people) aren’t using the term race theory correctly. Secondly, white people basically don’t want to teach legitimate history because they think it makes them look bad. Instead, more teaching of the loving pilgrims, the hero MLK, and soon, the great patriot Trump

Dude is from Montana. He's never seen a black person.

At least he's getting lit up in the comments section from what I read.

Honest question, who dubbed that the black national anthem? Also, isn’t the national anthem the……. NATIONAL anthem? Lol like for ALL Americans?

No paywall.

The American Legion wanted parts of the speech to be removed and the speaker refused, so they turned down the volume at the parts they didn't want to public to hear, such as when the speaker told the audience that the first Memorial day parade was held by local Black soldiers to commemorate those who died during the civil war.

Make no mistakes, the Confederacy lives in those people's hearts.
Did not know about the start of memorial day

Lift Every Voice and Sing

Many people are surprised to learn that "Lift Every Voice and Sing" was first written as a poem. Created by James Weldon Johnson, it was performed for the first time by 500 school children in celebration of President Lincoln's Birthday on February 12, 1900 in Jacksonville, FL. The poem was set to music by Johnson's brother, John Rosamond Johnson, and soon adopted by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) as its official song. Today “Lift Every Voice and Sing” is one of the most cherished songs of the African American Civil Rights Movement and is often referred to as the Black National Anthem.
