Pennsylvania High School Students Under Fire for Playing N-Word Hangman

Police are looking into a racially insensitive video posted online Tuesday and the death threats that two Hollidaysburg Area School District students say they are receiving because of it.

The video shows a portion of a hangman game and shows one student filling in the puzzle as others call out letters and are heard laughing. The answer was the n-word.

Jury awards family just FOUR CENTS after father, 30, was shot dead by a cop investigating loud music coming from his garage

The family of a father-of-three who was shot and killed by cops through his garage door have been left heartbroken after a jury awarded them just four cents in damages.

Gregory Hill, 30, was gunned down in his Florida home by St Lucie County Sheriff's Deputies Christopher Newman and his partner Edward Lopez while they were responding to a noise complaint.

Shocking photos show the garage door ridden with bullet holes after the deadly shooting on January 14, 2014.

But on Thursday a jury ruled that Hill was 99 percent responsible for his death, because he was drunk. They determined the cops were only one percent liable.

A driver posted a racist Snapchat post after hitting and killing a black pedestrian who was removing debris from a Louisiana highway so other motorists wouldn't crash into it.

Matthew Martin, 18, hit 31-year-old Sherell L. Lewis Jr on US 171 on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from KPLC.

He then told a friend on the app that he hit and killed 'some n*****' and he 'f***ed up the chevy pretty good'.

Lewis had stopped his own vehicle near Pickering around 3.15pm to remove debris when he was struck by Martin's 2003 Chevrolet pickup.

The man was pronounced dead at a hospital in Alexandria and the crash is still being investigated

Man sets fire to neighbor's car after hurling racial slur, police say

SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. - A man called his neighbor a n-word racial slur and threatened that his days were numbered before setting the victim's car on fire, according to the South Daytona Police Department.

Police said Joseph Minor, 56, approached his neighbor, Ronald Sweet, as he was outside washing and waxing his car and told Sweet he was "flashy," called him a n-word racial slur, said he would "take care" of him and his vehicle and warned that his days were numbered.

After the verbal altercation, the victim and his girlfriend went inside their apartment on Palmetto Avenue for the night. About 10 minutes later, around 12:35 a.m. Sunday, the victim heard a boom and saw that his vehicle was set on fire and Minor was walking away from the flames, according to the report.

Sweet and his fiancee, Cecilia Jones, both told police that Minor has made threats in the past and regularly uses racial slurs when talking to them and other tenants, the affidavit said.

New Sterling Brown Arrest Videos Show Police Standing On Player's Ankle, Celebrating Overtime Pay

Milwaukee TV station WISN has obtained additional body-cam and squad-car footage from the night of Sterling Brown’s arrest, as well as new photos of Brown’s injuries. One video shows an officer standing on the Bucks guard’s ankle to prevent him from kicking them, a suggestion Brown laughs off as absurd since he never tried to attack any of the numerous officers who showed up to arrest him, while another clip shows an officer celebrating the overtime he’d earned by showing up to arrest Brown. These new videos come two weeks after initial arrest footage was released that showed Brown getting tackled and shot with a stun gun for no reason, which can also now be seen from the perspective of the four officers who took him down.



The first video shows Brown on his stomach in the parking lot with a cop standing on his ankle. After Brown calmly tells the huddled police officers that they don’t need to physically pin him down any longer, they realize who he is, while Brown says, “I need all y’all names on that report,” because he’s rightly angry after officers “kicked me for no reason, kneed me in my [redacted] for no reason, ... pushed me for no reason.”



A squad car video shows an officer calling in to ask if he’ll have his request for overtime approved, before then singing “money money money” to the tune (roughly) of The O’Jays’ “For The Love Of Money.” In another video from the inside of a squad car, two officers seem to realize that the unnecessarily forceful arrest of an NBA player would make the MPD look bad. “The bureau is coming out for this? ... We’re trying to protect ourselves,” one officer said. “Because he plays for the Bucks, and if he makes a complaint, it’s going to be a [redacted]. And then any little [redacted] thing that goes wrong is going to be, ‘Ooh, the Milwaukee Police Department is all racist ... blah, blah, blah.’”

In addition to the videos, WISN also obtained photographs of Brown’s facial injuries and the marks that the taser left on his back.



Brown has said that he plans to take legal action against the Milwaukee Police Department in order to do his part “in helping to prevent similar incidents from happening to the minority community in the future.”
