Sacramento Kings off-season thread

Having out 2 best players getting national exposure and possibly winning a FIBA championship together sounds pretty good to me

If we got 2 Kings players representing the country and in the national spotlight that's pretty great.

Rudy at 4, Cuz at 5.  Brow can come off the bench

While I love the rock, and he is the reason I stuck with kings basketball, I wish he would've given us some stories we never heard of. I wanted to know what his campus life was like in JC. I wanted a story about his favorite places to chill and eat at while at KSU. I wanted to hear him say the '96 playoffs would've been different if he didn't injure his ankle in Game 4 and how Seattle would've never made the finals if that didn't happen. Slight disappointment.

But I digress, congratulations Mitch!

I am too young to really appreciate Mitch for his on court stuff.  I was born in 90 and even though i was raised a Kings fan from a young age and actually have a Mitch jersey my dad bought me as a kid, i didn't really start watching and following basketball till like 98 or 99

Pretty much one of my favorite early moments as a Kings fan was Mitch on the All Star team in 95 and then just going off and getting the MVP.

I was in high school and actually watching the game at my friend's house. We both were just so excited as Mitch seemed to make everything (I think he like 10/12 or 10/13). It felt like he was putting the whole city on the map that night. That is the best way I can describe it. It was like Sacramento was winning the MVP. We literally were jumping up and down and yelling. I had always thought for years he scored like 40 points. It was just exaggerated by how great of a night it was to be a Kings fan and young.

Just my favorite Mitch memory. From then on the guy could do no wrong in my eyes.
