Y’all are trippin bringing in actual meals. I’ll hit up 711 and cop a water and some m&ms or something. If not I’ll take the L and cop a small popcorn at the theater.

Also side note, this thread getting so many replies in such a small amount of time is just proof that general needs original threads to survive. All these official threads with 800 pages are ruining NT.

Truth in the post

But I am one to bring in meals or drank but I also buy nachos, theater popcorn, & soda. So it depends on the mood along with the movie.

Also some of the reserve seat spots don't even have the basic theater snacks like nachos & cheese but no jalapeño. Being to different takes away from the movie experience.

Man I ain't paying no resell prices for some Reese's Pieces b.

Always have my girl with the chips and kit Kats on deck in her purse when we go.

Go to the bodega have a whole meal of snacks with $5.

When I'm with my daughter tho it's adifferent story she wants her popcorn and icee from the theater so it's whatever.

The only time I ever had to deal with assigned seats was for an advanced screening.

I didn’t believe my homeboy until someone hit me with the ,”Excuse me, this is us. 2 AND 3.”

Yes bring SNACKS in. Odorless SNACKS. When you start to bring chinese food, burritos, and other things that have strong smells, that is going overboard.

My first job was at movie theater, the best part was throwing people out for doing dumb****. They may have changed the rules but your not supposed to bring outside food in at all. We weren't allowed to search (Had off duty cops for that) you but if we saw you with food you were thrown out until you ate it or thrown it away right in front us. Its not just about money, **** like the stuff mentioned above and big family size bags of chips can disturb other guest. Whether its the odor or the noise you make digging your hand in the bag that **** is annoying.

We ring out the big purse movie days. I remember 1 time I made the mistake of bring pepsi instead of the usual Gatorade. It seemed like everytime I opened it to take a sip it was dead silent so u can hear it opening.

Exhibit A

Yea there is a theatre where I live that serves food and alcohol. Been there a few times.

Pretty nice experience

Btw I had a friend who worked at a theatre before.

They don't give a **** if you "sneak" food in there unless it's something ridiculous like ramen or something

This is pretty accurate unless we were bored or you were rude to staff, then we would look for a reason to kick you out

So ramen as in cup of noodles? Is ridiculous? Or ramen as in bowl with eggs and pork tonkatsu or something Ike that

only thing I bring in is candy, cop for $1 instead of 4.50 for the same pack :smh:

most of the time my girl doesn't mention it til were already inside and end up spending damn near $10 on two packs of cheap *** candy SMH

You can pay resell on yeezys no problem, but can't spend the extra $3.50 on candy? :nerd::lol:

Figured eating soup/ramen in the dark would be dangerous. Honestly if I go to a movie I dont want to use a fork

I wish an usher would try to kick me out for munching on some Popeye's when shorty next to me is munching on a full plate of baby back ribs and a large pizza that she had delivered to her seat from the bar.

The employees at the theatres around here only come in to fill out some cleaning checklist and leave. Never see them looking for someone eating outside food.

I dont pay resell

and ive spent the extra $3.50 plenty of times, ive actually only brought in outside candy twice  feels dumb to pay almost $5 when the gas station down the road has it for $1

Why should you have to deal with anything? You paid to watch a movie not deal with that other ****

Give me a break, its a theater full with people. Of course you're going to deal with something. Main reason I don't go on opening weekends and wait weeks after RD, but you will always encounter something. If it bothers you that much, just stay home.

We weren't really looking for it, unless another theater guest came out and said something about an odor or noise we let it rock. But if we catch you in the lobby we had the right to have you escorted out

Hate the people who kick the back of your seat whether it's an accident or not

Or the people who put they feet up on your chair or the chair next to you. Shoes be right by your head

Couple of weeks ago went to watch TLJ and brought in 2 whoppers and a drink. Made the movie more enjoyable
