So, I'm finally watching The Dark Knight.

I thought it was a great movie..not one of the greatest but a movie you can watch over and over and never get bored with it..

Heath Ledger as the Joker was great..he really immersed himself into the character and portrayed a Joker that was an evil and sadistic villain..

Some parts drag on but it's a 2 and half hour movie what more do you want..

I was actually rootin for the boats to blow up..

Dark, edgy film that will always b remembered..

I'm not the OP, but I'll give my list.

Godfather 1 and 2
Goodfellas
Casino
Shawshank Redemption
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Schindler's List
City of God
Fight Club
The Departed
Usual Suspects
Silence of the Lambs
Memento
Se7en
Forrest Gump
Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I could go on, but I won't.

And I love TDK, but let's not act like it's one of the greatest movies of all time.

This is the best movie some of you have ever seen? Really?

This was the same thing I said a minute ago, and people called me a hater.

I sat through WATCHMEN totally awake. This almost put me to bed about three different times.

You think the Watchmen is better than TDK.. Thats a first. It was the total opposite for me, I had a hard time staying awake in Watchmen, maybe I have to see it again

I read Watchmen mad long ago and I saw it with 2 friends who absolutely hated it, they were crying in their seats like 7 yr olds

To me, Watchmen is NOT a superhero movie, and those who go into it thinking it is are disappointed. TDK was a REALLY REALLY GOOD SUPERHERO movie, whileWatchmen was a great movie that told a story with superheros in it. hope that made sense.

Movie was entirely too long, and i found myself bored in most scenes Ledger was absent. You kind of notice that the during the scenes he is not in, you'rejust waiting for the scenes that he is in.

I am Legend was horrible. Wasn't even similar to it's source. I throw this movie in the doodoo pile along with Steel, Catwoman, Elektra and Batman andRobin

And to top it off, the CGI was garbage.

Dark Knight is the best major comic book adaption to date.

(My opinion)

1. Dark Knight
2. X2
3. Blade
4. Batman
5. TMNT
6. Sin City
7. Batman Returns
8 Iron Man
9. 300
10. V for Vendetta

I dont care what anyone says...

Being one of my favorite superheroes with prob the second best set of villains next to Batman, the Spiderman series was overhyped and boring.
The second one is usually everyones favorite and i dont think i ever watched it after seeing it in the theater. The first one was new and exciting but then yourealize its sort of like Phantom Menace type hype. And the third one........i remember taking off of work the next day and had wished i hadn't wasted a dayon it.

And the Superman movies

. All of them. The only thing these filmswere good for were killing time when I was 10 and I'd watch it on CH 11 in the afternoons in NY.

If you liked I Am Legend you were prob big on FF4. I rather drink whiteout then watch FF4. I do give credit to FF4: ROTSS for that trailer, hyping up Surfer.

finally watched it in it's entirety (hbo ftw). it was a great movie, heath's performance was remarkable. i wouldn't say it's one of the GOAT,but it's definitely solid.

Ok...I knew this would happen if I wasn't more specific. Lets keep it in the action genre please. You don't compare movies like Forrest Gump andGodfather to action movies. They are completely different kinds of films. There is a total of 0 action flicks in your list. So, if you were OP, I could sayobviously you are not a big fan of action movies, which is why you don't like TDK. Its not because TDK is bad, its because you don't really care forthe genre.

There's two endings, both whack. Movie overall was okay, it didn't suck

This is one of my favorite films of all time.

Everything was almost/ or was perfect. From the score, the plot, the acting, the cinematography, everything was onpoint.

There were often sequences in the film where the score, acting, etc. were really poignant that it made me teared up...

I went to X-Men Origins...heard people saying that it was 10x better than TDK. I died a little inside.

I know what you mean. I liked the movie when I saw it in theaters, the Joker is an amazing character but people are either on crack when they say the movie isthe best movie ever or more likely they are very young the only movies they have seen have been the summer action adventures and dumb comedies of the last fewyears. If that is case and that is for many of the hardcore Dark Knight fanboys, the Dark Knight is the most sophisticated, intense and dramatic movie that youhave seen.
