My man stuntman mike stuntman mike , that 'space horse' escape scene on the casino royale planet was on par with the pod racing 'ish from TPM!

Although Stars Wars Episode 1 racer for the N64 was a good game! :pimp:
i agree and i agree
there were quite a few things that really irked me (i actually said “yikes” our loud when leia started flying) but there was much more good than bad. the acting in the prequels was HORRIBLE - young anakin and emo anakin were absolute TRASH. the acting in the last jedi was mostly outstanding (though why they let del toro do that stutter was beyond me) i stand by my assertion that adam and daisy performed better than any other person in the past 2 trilogies.

If you are wondering who th 1.5 interesting characters in the new Trilogy is? easy

1. Kylo

.5 Rey.

Kylo vs Rey is the only thing new and interesting in the new trilogy, the rest of it is star wars kareoke.

haven't seen it yet
probably will
but stressing it
never seen the hype
star wars is a trash
and
over rated series anyway

EDIT:
yoda fighting
and vader putting in work
in like the last few minutes of rouge one
are the highest points of the series imo

It’s what makes Star Wars great. Your order is not the correct order just cause you say it is. Mine is
1.ESb
2.ROTS
3.ANH
4.TFA
5.ROTJ
6.TLJ
7.TPM
8.AOTC

lamekilla lamekilla again I haven't watched the movie.. but I'm concerned reading watching and listening to the stuff I have

As I said above, some things don't make sense as the middle film.. but especially after TFA

Just seems odd having things happen in this movie after the build up in TFA

All you truly need to know is that Rian Johnson does twists just for the sake of twists and that he got Luke Skywalker’s character portrayal egregiously wrong to the point of parody.

Emperor Palpatine from the prequels says hi. You want to tell me that wasn’t good acting. Or obi-wan.
 acting like a kissass nice guy and then showing a bad side?! not even close. he had the emotional range of a piece of bread being toasted.

ewan was really good. liam was too.

Just seems odd to have all that build up to the character in TFA.. same goes for snoke

Arguing over hypothetical synarios concocted here is even more ******ed and childish than arguing over Star Wars son.
Wow you really didn't get what was being discussed or purposely didnt pay attention

Nobody was arguing about a hypothetical scenario son. He brought up a hypothetical scenario as an example to compare to something that actually happened in the movie.

You have to actually read and comprehend the the back and forth before assuming and jumping to conclusions.

Nah, i came here to Lead, not to Read.

Thats not really a criticism of his acting but the character and what the actor had to work with.

McDiarmid was excellent given the kind of character he played and what scripts he had to work with.

They also use the tracking thru hyperspace in Star Wars Rebels.

Also, Pablo Hidalgo mentioned that the storyline began summer of 2014, and JJ is a producer of TLJ, as in he was on board with Rian's script.

Pablo, and Rian both liked the Slash article I posted above.

nitpick:

*kinda*

there is no gravity in space
how are you dropping bombs?

why are you dropping bombs in space
when laser cannons exist?

Just speculating
large ships have their own gravitational pull or they're with in a planet's gravitational pull....

The resistance lack resources, hence low tech and fire power

*shrugs

he did well enough playing a weasel but you’re correct that his limitation was probably the script. still, there’s no way palpatine is at the top of star wars performances.

I just wonder where the film goes for the 3rd film to have a satisfactory wrapping up of this story

Loved what they did with rogue one, which was an isolated story related to that larger story and exposed the larger reality of what was going on beyond luke and co.. how they used general Tarkin was smart

The original trilogy and even another favorable trilogy LOTRs, built up towards that identifiable enemy.. we knew the path and where things were going

If this was an ongoing thing, like the marvel movies, I could understand the snoke and Luke moves.. but even within those they are building towards thanos and have him lingering throughout.. snoke was that lingering figure in TFA with kleio in training and even just coming to grips with being on the dark side and even seems to be a complex ongoing thing in this

I completely agree with C CP1708 point of the larger universe being created, explored and put on display which is why I loved rogue 1.. but my concern lies with the story isolated in these 3 movies and the first film heavily alluded and built up the figures of Luke and snoke.. not saying those 2 need to be the primary ingredients of the trilogy, but they seemed to be huge parts of 2nd and 3rd films just based upon the first film.. I think a lot of people assumed this trilogy would be that bridge between the old and new

Just left the movie theater. Well that was different. Told my guys: we grew up with the Original Trilogy. The Prequels weren't made for us and The Sequels aren't made for us.

Wasn't really into the Episode before and this movie just confirms that the Sequels are not My Star Wars. Action sequences only best thing. Kinda goes on and on.

Just hope all standalone movies are good.
In for The Bad Guys and good stories.
TIE Pilot Lives Matter.
