He’s the biggest bish in the galaxy. Snoke making fun of him for wearing the helmet was great and then the scene of beta ben in the elevator breaking his helmet.
lol
I was howling when he broke the mask. Snoke had jokes. I liked Kylo better with the mask so I wouldn’t have to look at his punchable face.

Luke looked so washed smh. Finn always takes Ls but survives. They'll prob kill him in the next Star Wars.

i’ve heard a few people complain about rogue one not being enjoyable because it was too dark or too unlike a typical star wars movie. i loved it. acting was top notch. the tension and action were great! humor fit in well (k-2so was perfect).

Co-sign. Just rewatched rogue one and it was so well done. The writing, casting, acting, production etc. They developed characters perfectly and I felt invested in the plot the entire movie. K2 was hilarious and the Darth Vader scenes among the best scenes from the entire franchise.

I thought TLJ was good but missed the mark on a few things.

Man, if you're kid grows up to kill children or kills you then you were probably too dumb to be having kids in the first place.

Yeah, there was that whole scene with Yoda saying they couldn't tap in to the force the same way and were basically blinded.

Only explanation that they couldn't sense the dark side vibes from Palpatine when he would talk directly to them.

i don't think you need the force to take a wild guess at who the sith lord is.

Man re watching scenes from those movies, they look so bad. green screen and lighting is terrible.

I think I hate this movie man lol I can't stop thinking about how poor I think the writing is

I'm obsessing and losing my mind

It would seem easy from the viewers perspective but think about this:

At the end of Episode I, Mace and Yoda wondered if the Sith master or the apprentice died. Probably in their arrogance, prominence in the galaxy (a whole freaking planet called Jedha with enormous, mountain like Jedi statues were around) were like “Ehh, this was nothing but a tax dispute. We took out a bad *** with double sabers, we good.” The whole galaxy was in a age of peace would they really need to be concerned about a possibly dead Sith Lord based on a tax dispute with a planet like Naboo?

Episode II, Dooku, who left the Jedi, told Obi-Wan everything about the Sidious. Even proposed a offer to join him but he refused. Obi didn’t believe Dooku and at the end of the movie he went to Yoda and Mace and told them what was said. In combination of the “shroud of the dark side falling,” arrogance, and different politicians (no full dictatorship yet) with different agendas, it wasn’t quite clear if there was a “Dark Lord Of The Sith” pulling strings. Also, remember they still weren’t sure if the master or the apprentice was killed.

In Episode III, by the time Palpatine became a full dictator it was too late. The Jedi figured it out but Order 66 dropped and that was the end of the Jedi Order.

For me, the Jedi weren’t dumb. Sidious was just that powerful, cunning, and strategic. With him being THE Sith Lord, coupled with the above, made sense for why he convertly took over.

Man re watching scenes from those movies, they look so bad. green screen and lighting is terrible.

Technology really advanced since then. Crazy how a space opera can look so real now.

My dude, they will still make money of merchandise, toys, etc...

Of course. Star Wars can’t fail. But Disney has definitely noticed. And I wholeheartedly believe that Rian Johnson being a hack is starting to be the majority opinion.

I think the drop-off is due to the huge turnout opening weekend, because the hype of this movie seemed to be beyond TFA for me.

You're not going to have attendance that crazy for the second week, ever.

Even if this movie is Kylo Renning me, point blank the incredibly divisive and polarizing word of mouth only fueled my desire to go see it, as it did other people I know.

 @ people celebrating the film not making money now. My ex was less petty
Funny thing is it will still make money.

Not sure but think it's still tracking for 1.5 bil overall

They will need to tread carefully with the next movie because it could be a BvS situation where BvS made money despite getting trashy word of mouth but the next movie falls off a cliff.

If you think about it, the movie wasn’t going to make 2 billi like Force Awakens. That kind of nostalgia hype is a factor that is rarely captured since it’s based on timing. There’s a Star Wars movie every year now so the novelty gets worn off.

It’s so egregious with the ho hum explanations. Palpatine was an evil entity we knew nothing about so if he starts doing weird **** like force lightning, who are we to question it in 1983?

Leia however, has been with audiences for years and never displayed any force ability to that magnitude. If she is doing something that would make her damn near omnipotent, we need a better explanation than “her daddy is the chosen one, Skywalker skills”. Luke is the son of the chosen one, why didn’t he create a flying Ferrari mentally and get to Crait fast enough? There’s rules to this stuff, y’all tryna downplay all of this now that Rian Johnson has ruined it.

Check this, if snoke was breathing and flying through space, we couldn’t question it :rolleyes

If she used her force for anything reasonable it would have been dope. But to use it to make her fly in space was corny. Entire casino storyline was pointless to the plot and just cost them a lot of their people.

Rogue one - people who died were hero’s.

Last Jedi - people who died were victims of low level rebellion soldiers making poor decisions

its not the technology. the lighting and production design had nothing to do with technology, its just bad filmaking.

none of that other stuff you wrote is convincing, imo it was painfully obvious who the sith lord was, jedi's were wild dumb.
