LMAOOOOO at the avocados a couple pages back

We were making dinner at my friend's apartment a few weeks ago and one of our friends bought a shiny, smooth avocado. Way different than the dark colored ones I always get at Costco. Didn't realize there were so many different kinds.

I'm never in this thread so I don't want to intrude in the conversation but I have a question. I've been out the game for a WHILE. I live on my own now and want to start working out. Can anyone PM me a very basic meal plan I can follow every single day. Just a basic 5 meal or whatever plan. I can only cook chicken, oatmeal, eggs and veggies. Got protein shakes. Need to go buy groceries so would love to hear some insight. :]

iLLest!

Quite a few do at my gym. A few dudes shadow box in the cardio room too.

I'm thinking of doing the same with the jump rope, bro.

anybody have "that guy at the gym" that wears MMA style compression shorts with all the sponsors on em? there's this dude who keeps on a backpack, does lunges throughout the gym, and wears those damn compression shorts. everybody is like... what in the haaail?

Not MMA, but a couple of the guys rock their gym's Muay Thai shorts. They hit the gym to lift weight. These dudes actually do cardio AROUND the gym  Amateur fighters at the local casinos and all. Cool dudes, but always get looks because of how hard they train.

it sort of beats treadmil/machine running because it focuses on hand/eye coordination and rhythm. i'm trying to get like floyd and ali

cutting wind with the rope.

Yeah man. There's this dude who is a boxer build. He's like 5'6" but super lean. Dude skips rope with fury. In a quiet cardio room, the wind noise is obvious. He dances around that thing. Made me want to practice myself because it looks super cardio friendly.

bought a nice cable jump rope months ago with the idea of jumping rope between sets. did it for one session and retired that damn thing
i need to dig it back out though and try again. gotta burn more cals during my workout.

coming back slowly from rehabbing my rotator cuff. added the 2.5# plates (to one plate) on OHP yesterday doing 5x5. can't believe my ego has held me back from using those damn things. it was a much more manageable increase.

Put your ego aside and use those damn things. Especially on such a big lift as OHP. Recently just added them on to my bench and notice some gains as well. Now if only dumbbells came in 2.5 increments after 22.5s.

I bet you could just make that with coffee, milk or almond milk and protein and splenda/stevia to taste. I'll try when I get home in fact, seems perfect for a preworkout shake
I didn't read the OG recipe, but my go-to pre-workout drink is an iced coffee with a little milk, cinnamon, and a scoop of chocolate protein - makes a nice mocha flavored refreshing drink.

I can't rationally understand why you wouldn't use the 2.5ers...

Self control brah

Hit the gym last night after swearing it off for the week, didn't go as heavy as I would've liked, but it felt GREAT :pimp:
I went back to sleeping on my side these past few weeks, and that's where the elbow and wrist pains were coming from. Slept on my back last night, a wee bit of pain is still lingering, but its a HUGE improvement over 24 hours ago

Hitting pull day in a bit, LET'S GO!

What to choose for a cheat meal...or to pass all together. I've gotten so used to staying strict to my containers of late with my schedule, coupled with finally being able to go directly to the gym after leaving the office.

Keep at it with the rope, Stuntman. Vid from my IG of me having a little fun with mines warming up yesterday.

I used to hate jumping rope when I was bigger because the fat would jiggle as you jump and I would have the rope trip on my legs quickly. But, man...who cares what anyone else thinks, you're there to better yourself

Exactly. You progress more in general by blocking everyone else out and doing your thing.

jumping rope is no joke--- I used to do it for warm ups (100, then a hundred on each leg) but my trainer doesn't really have us doing that anymore. DEF exhausting, but I'd rather bike 30 mins than jump rope though
