Nike will introduce a new model in the growing Lunar-based runner catalog soon with the LunarEclipse+. A Flywire, mesh and suede upper sits on a Lunar sole, which will surely be seen in a variety of ultra-bright colors. The introductory colorways introduced at a Nike Running event look to be relying on multiple shades of grey for the upper and allowing the sole to add color accents.

Lunar Eclipse's will be my first pair of shoes with Lunar technology. That grey/red combo and the design is absurd. It's going to be hard to hold off training/running in those.

More info regarding the Eclipse+ (courtesy of Ernest, Nike Running Product Manager)

- Softer than the LunarGlide with a wider range of support

- Elimination of the firmer carrier under balls of the feet, which is replaced by 33% more Lunarfoam with no increase of thickness in front portion of the midsole

- 12.0 oz in Men's (size 10)

- 9.6 oz in Women's (size

- Fits 1/2 smaller, so 1/2 size up to your usual size

All in all, the LunarEclipse offers both a high level of cushioning (meaning soft cushioning) and a high level of guidance (dynamic support).
