ACC wants MSG now that the big east has dropped down a peg. They might have to settle for Brooklyn.

MSG makes more sense than Verizon Center at this point. Without the home team (Maryland) in the conference anymore, they are missing a huge contingent of fans that would have been interested in attending the entire tournament. There will be plenty of UVA/VT/UNC/Duke fans at the games, but if one of those teams aren't playing, the crowds will likely be pretty weak, unless there is a strong showing of Cuse/Pitt fans...Look at ticket prices and crowds when the tournament is here compared to outside of Greensboro. It's a HUGE difference. Gboro seats 24,000 so bigger arena and market isn't a driving force. Tickets are dirt cheap this weekend. On the secondary market they're usually double face for Friday-Saturday. It brings over a million in revenue to the city while its here. It's in the middle of the east coast so for out of state teams it's perfect. Greensboro is the home of the ACC anyways. Atmosphere is just night and day when it's held elsewhere

What are your feelings about the location for the Big 12 tournament? I think it should stay in KC and maybe once in a while in OKC, but never in Texas.Still on my sports bucket list to go to KC for Big 12 Tourney week. If the weather is good and you get a KU vs Iowa State or a KU vs KSU in the Finals on Sat the PN&L is packed with people. Day drinking...
I'll chime in here. So, KC is the best place for it, there's no arguing that. However, I can admit it is strange to have the tournament in Missouri when there are no Big 12 teams in Missouri. What are your feelings about the location for the Big 12 tournament?
