The College Basketball Post

No one should ever call me a Canadian homer again.

No way I saw this coming from Shai. thought he was solid prospect, not a 1 and done first rounder.

yeah bulls should shoot much better but perkins isn't exactly a great shooter from 3. hate his form too. so ugly
You right, almost like a lefty MKG with that atrocious form. Although Perkins did hit a big three a week ago against Toledo in the MAC title game, and also really came alive in the second half vs. my Arizona Wildcats.

Noticing Harris is having a really off game at the worst time for Buffalo. Missed putback on a corner three and had a wide-open look on the right side of the key that he missed as well. Then as I write this post, SGA nearly picked Harris' pocket driving to the lane.

Nothing but respect for Wes Clark, who is probably playing hurt and going out on his shield.

same thing with davidson the other night. peyton aldridge was like 1/10 on 3's. missed bout 6 or 7 open ones. can't be shooting 40% all year on 3. come into the biggest game of your life, and then be uncharacteristically off when the margin of error is smaller. kentucky is extremely vulnerable but teams aren't taking their opportunities. credit to SGA though. dude has been nothing short of impressive this game. every time buffalo made a run, he responded.

every time i watch wes clark, he just reminds of beal. kinda similar physically and the way they play too.

That 360-degree spin and finish at the left side of the rim was filthy. There's no defending that.

Also hit a three from the left side of the key in the first half, another right side after halftime.

he's not really all that different than when I saw him play for canada. other than it looks like raised the release point on his jumper.

I thought his lack of burst would hurt him more, but it hasn't really,

it only shows up when teams full court press him and he can't beat guys.

And that's that

Wenyen been balling out the past few games
Welp. Buffalo is in good shape to give it another strong tourney run next year. Returning everyone important other than Clark. Harris (who disappeared in the second half), Massinburg (leading scorer) and Perkins all juniors. Plus Oats' best defender, Caruthers.

Besides Shai's individual brilliance, Gabriel was the catalyst for Kentucky today. Crashed the boards, especially in the second half. Hit three triples, he can get hot from downtown as we saw against Alabama in the SEC semifinal.
