dudes stayed ready with the
lose pick = haha lakers sucked for no reason and will continue to lose only to have other teams reap the benefit of a lottery pick
or
keep pick = lonzo aint even that good....lavar this, lavar that....lavars teeth

get on with that crap

Here's the thing tho: the Lakers DON'T HAVE TO take Ball with the 2nd pick. If you went with Fox or even Jackson I guarantee the jokes and laughs wouldn't be so loud. But the BBB brainwashing literally has Laker fans thinking Ball is the hero y'all need when there's potentially better talent to choose from, especially for the current make up of the team.

Not saying that Ball won't be great for y'all but it's literally "BALL OR BUST" with Laker fans instead of taking any other player into consideration.

Lakers need a PG. The consensus top 2 prospects are PGs it ain't that hard.

Who they pick has nothing to do with all the salt in here pre draft yesterday.

You know Lonzo been a top 2 prospect all year right?

Some of ya'll are taking the BBB thing too serious and it clouds your thinking about how good he is. You saying theres potentially other players better than him, well he's also potentially better than them and has been looked at as such all year.

We've been talking about Lonzo all season long in the CBB and this thread - Lonzo's prospect positioning been well documented and spoke on

Serious question: are you truly and genuinely excited about Lonzo being your guy for the Lakers and him being a franchise changing player?

For someone with so many damn glaring weaknesses, i'm shocked he's valued as the #2 best prospect in this draft.

I'm hoping to see him run that offense right and make the game easier for the rest of the team. All that other stuff I'll wait and see how he develops.

If any NBA had the #2 pick, they would be picking Lonzo Ball and this has be the thought ALL SEASON

Why when the Lakers get the #2 pick, now y'all wanna question "Do you REALLY like him?" and "Do you HONESTLY think he will pan out and be a star?"

Who else would you pick? It's Fultz, then Lonzo, then the field.

To an extent didn't people see Okafor the same way until the pre-draft process really got started?

"They" should've been seeing Okafor's case the previous few years leading up to that draft.

With the new influx of talented bigs now (Jokic, KAT, Embiid, etc) and next year coming in, I think the NBA will shift back into a big man league in the next 5 or so years.

Right now Embiid is the only guy who seems good enough to dominate as a true big.  Hope he stays healthy.

The public was much higher on okafor during the CBB season than NBA people.

The Lakers are probably taking Ball, but he's been a polarizing prospect all year.
