* The Official Jay-Z: Blueprint 3 Post [3rd single: Empire State Of Mind]

I was hopin' to see more producers on here because Kanye's beats have not been what they used to be.

I think its a dope cover BUT i dont think it fits well with the blueprint trilogy. I think he should of kept the same theme of him on the album cover.

Co-sign.

I was wanting to see if 3 Stacks would outshine Hov.

They probably scrapped it for the better. I wouldn't really be down for a year-old beat and concept to take up space on a new album, it would sound like athrowaway track even if all 4 went in

-Beyonce
-An "I Made It" song. How many times can you re-do "Anything" off Beanie Sigel's first lp?
-An outstanding Just Blaze beat or two...dude always comes out of nowhere and murks everybody on the album with some last minute %*@*.
-Leftover Kanye beats (he saves the best %*@* for his lp's). Ye gets "Say You Will" and "Welcome To Heartbreak"

...Jay gets "Jockin' Jay-Z"

-Zero Roc-A-Fella artists

-A whole song and a gang of lines referencing age.
-Product placement of all the latest and greatest clothes, cars, gadgets, travel destinations etc
-Him telling Dame and Biggs to make another Hov

Bonus: Him swearing his undying allegiance to Bleek. Maybe they're really just that tight but is anybody else wondering why dude is so loyal? What does Bleek know?

I'll be suprised if it doesn't flop and I'm a HUGE Jay-Z fan...

but this analysis is dead on.

btw....I think Bleek dropped bodies for Jay or something...why else would he keep dude around...

The album cover blinded me. Mad white but the album will speak for itself.

I am a huge Jay fan but why do I feel this will be Kingdome Come part II and I think 50's BISD might be better than this, hopefully both are solid albums

I agree with Illuztrious.

American Gangster worked because he had a theme he followed.

BP2 was sub par for me, ditto for Kingdome Come.

Basically, dude really has nothing to say anymore.

10 albums in the game, I'm guessing anyone would "run out of things to say"....

I don't have any expectations for this album, it would be nice if it Jay drops a classic but I won't be disappointed if he flops

I'm actually shocked you said that Gritty.

.. Was expecting more of a roast session like old times lol
