I bet that they do more business with cats who come off the street, than with celebrity clients. Their location is good for them. You gotta' go where the dough is. People in Beverly Hills, etc, are going to Tiffany or Cartier or whatever. People who want a nice heavy diamond chunk, will hit up Slauson. Nothing wrong with that.

heads up, I have been looking for a nice micro Jesus with no diamonds or just diamond eyes.  Wanted the IF one because it looks the best but thought it was overpriced.  

Saw Icebox's micro and thought it looked great and thought it had to be less than IF.  I couldn't get a hold of them for a price but NT member bleed05 was able to get a hold of them and find out the price and was nice enough to pm me with it.  (thanks bleed05)
