Just got my Laser Blue’s in. These are awesome. Nike really got the little details right.
The box is correct.
Shoe and shape are pretty on point.
Love the little details like the size tag on the back of the tongue. The insole even has the old Nike logo.
I’m assuming the Infrared’s will come full OG like this. I’m excited.

One can only hope/wish, but I really hope the Infrared colors sit like these Laser Blues and Eggplant colorways. Can't express this enough, but I'm glad at least with these original colorways, it's not like 2017.

I legit can't decide if I should just buy the laser blues now, or wait for the infrareds. I don't need or want to spend the money on both, and the infrareds mean more to me historically. But these days I feel like I'd maybe want to wear the blues more often as they aren't as bright and flashy. **** LOL

someone did post a real pic of the infra's a few pages back.
the difference can clearly be seen (the mid and outsole). the og nose is so different, in fact it is to me the biggest flaw of the recraft :so glad the og's get the other mid and outsole.

Look at the orange rubber toe part ,or the cassette.
If you got an laser blue or eggplant,put them next to a non og recraft pair .
I will make a pic of recrafts next to og recrafts and post it shortly
by the way,this is not my pic,nor can i be certain it is manipulated,but at least it is the correct mid and outsole.

Yes the wedge,
I am not sure how to explain it but the outlines of the wedge are thinner and less deep making it less 3d or separated from the midsole if you will,than the recraft midsole.
put a recraft next to laser or eggplants . it is very hard to see as it is the same model .
count the lines of the rubber toe part at the nose : the recraft has 8 lines and the lasers and eggplants have 7 ,and a different shape. the 1990 air max has the same nose and 7 lines not 8 .
I am not good at explaining,just check it out yourself if you got lasers or eggplants and non og recrafts

I really wanted to know ,so ,
I meassured a deadstock 1990 laser blue og down to the millimeter
with a digital meassuring device and compared it to the meassurements of the 2020 laser blue in the same size of course.
They come close but not quite.
i think it is a scaling issue because of nike starting out at 42.5 eur and downscaling for smaller sizes and upscaling for bigger sizes,unfortunately i don't have a size 42.5 euro 1990 og so I can't tell.( they used only one original max to recraft while I would have chosen at least three: a big a small and medium size)
of course it does not explain why the recraft has not been given the retooled mid and outsolein the fist place ,only putting them on the og's.
we all know nike ,they got some messed up strategies.
still ,you won't hear me complain.

I copped the Volt and Total Orange from Jimmy Jazz during the Labor Day sale; two must haves for summer color matching! The volt was not an OG but should have been back then! The orange looks so much better in person compared to photos. I don't believe we are ever getting a true Hyvent Orange retro (which I would love) so I picked it up for some remembrance. The Infrareds are cool though so they will be copped too! Glad to see Laser Blues sitting for that later discount. If Eggplants go down enough maybe them too.

I remember infrareds sitting in 2005 and 2010 but flying in 2015 so who knows. Would be nice to have a pair in my true size again.

Checking my tracking status for the LB and see the Grapes smacking me in the face. That's cold Nike! I've been waiting all year for the men's U.S. release. I should have copped overseas at this the point. Anyways, can't wait to get my Laser Blues.

When the infra's first came out back in 1990, I trippled.(had no money for months afterwards) two to wear and one to keep fresh,so one remained deadstock.
still have them all. needless to say when they first retro'd the infra's I bought them, missed the 2003 ,got the 2005, 2008 ,2010,2012 and did not bother on the 2015 when i saw no infrared on the inner tongue.
very exited for the recraft infrared 2020 ,I can't wait till they drop and let's hope we all can make easy cops like with the lasers and eggplants .

If you think about it in today's times of shoes, that's a blessing to be able to hold off on the Laser Blues as it stays readily available. Significantly less pressure to act right away and you got the Infrareds as your priority, too. The Laser Blue is honestly a pretty nice color, too.

Out of all the recrafted 90’s the wmns concord pink is the pair I’ve anticipated more than any other
this is the first time they’ve ever released in a size I can actually wear. I believe prior to this men’s 10.5/11 was the largest I’d ever seen. Nike finally did it right and made these up to a men’s 15. Hopefully my sz13 is as easy to cop as all the others have been. Once I own these I’ll have every OG colorway

A bit torn on the concords. While I do want to get all the OG colorways. And I’m not trying to sound like a macho/ tough guy or anything, but they might be a little too feminine for my taste. Again this isn’t a knock on anyone who like/wears them. Plus I already have bought 10 pairs of 90s this year, and have only got around to wearing about half of them. Will be a game time decision for sure.
