And we haven’t had an elite perimeter player since Iverson (minus half a season of the other Jimmy)

EYE am not holding up a Harden deal over a guy that no one in this league wanted 6 months ago
There were 4 games in that Hawks series where Philly won Embiid’s minutes, by double digits no less.

His backup is kinda important I’d say.

Staggering him & Harden will help with that but you gotta remember you’re not getting the guy from Houston.

Doesn't necessarily mean the backup is all that important. Could just as easily signify that nobody else on the team could keep things going with Embiid out. AHEM Ben Simmons Tobias Harris AHEM.

EYE mean, who’s gonna get things going with Dwert on the court lol

Harden himself has struggled getting things going this season, though.

Hence why you’d prefer to have him with a more talented backup when you’re staggering him & Embiid

You think this makes the Nets better or worse :nerd:

It makes the Nets worse because they're getting the worse player. But the Nets are cooked because Ben Simmons is really not him, and Kyrie can't play home games. Maybe the nets unlock some stuff with Ben at the 4/5. He's sus though.

But, both of those guys (Ben and Harden) weird fellas man. Harden's greatest hits (Game 6 LAC, Game 6 SAS, Game 6 vs GSW in 2019, the 2012 finals, how he left Houston, the 4pt game last week) plus Doc Rivers? Recipe for disaster

Ben Simmons' greatest hits go beyond just the Hawks series. He's a malcontent who has never improved, and is liable to throw up a 4 pt game in game 5 of the playoffs. I'm good on that.

And that's before you get to the fact that Harden's game has never really translated to the playoffs all 'that' great, and he's breaking down right in front of you.
