Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel had some worries about how his team's season might go months ago. Vogel said "It did not look good" about the Lakers as far back as the preseason.

“We were getting killed in the preseason,” Vogel said about Los Angeles 0-6 preseason record. “And it was like, ‘Well, it’s preseason.’ But it’s still the early look at those guys.”

There's been plenty of positive things to takeaway from preseason if you're actually looking for it

I haven’t seen preseason games analyzed so heavy like this in a while . In the media and here of course

It’s too early for me to have any opinion about this team just yet. God bless those who do, I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’m going to give it some time. Most Lebron teams take a while to get on the same page…I think the Heat were 8-9 and fire Spo rumors were running rampant before they got it together.
