exactly. also, it depends on which Wagyu it is, including the cut. regular, A5 or the more expensive Japanese variety. it also depends on the restaurant on how they prepare it. for me, Japanese Wagyu is the best followed by A5. also, a trick to eating Wagyu is it shouldn't be eaten like a big chunk of tomahawk steaks. it is served, proportionally. I know it feels like you didn't get your money's worth considering the amount vs price but for me it is worth it. it is not like you are burning cash just to eat a regular golden steak made by Salt Bae.That's where the flavor comes from.
