"WD Black stated that the SN850P is faster than the SN850, and its website breaks exactly how fast. The SN850P writes at 7,300MB/s and reads at 6,300MB/s, while the SN850 writes at 7,000MB/s and reads at 5,300MB/s. The read and write speed for the default PS5 SSD seems to be around 5,500MB/s."

Meh... my Firecuda 530 is already rated @ 7300/6900.

$2000 for profit is crazy. It'll be less profit with RnD considered but man the Apple tax is real.

I love how a bunch of tech outlets are saying its revolutionary as if no other company can match it if they had a $3500 price point to hit.

I just hope it brings more people to the space who will then need their VR gaming fix from other headsets like the PSVR2.

I expect Samsung and more Chinese brands to follow now.
