The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

i feel like im the only person who's never played the mass effect games :rollin

Nope :lol

Question about the switch
Did Nintendo actually confirm that game save data is locked to the console and can't be transferred, or was that just a rumor?
I feel like no one is talking about this. That seems like an automatic deal breaker if true

whats for sure locked is you can only use 1 sd card on 1 switch, for now.

Nintendo has talked about when they do a full launch of their online stuff for the switch a bunch of stuff is gonna....switch

Gonna be a real pain the butt though if, for example, my switch breaks and i have to switch switches that i wont be to switch the sd card to the new switch i had to switch to :x :{

But that's my point though. I've been hearing things about it being flimsy/ easily breakable. If it were to break after putting in 50 or so hours into Zelda, I'd imagine most people would be pissed about having to start over

Me too.

The first one is the weakest link in the trilogy. Try out 2 or 3 and it might change your mind. I played the first installment after 2 & 3 and realized it was slightly lackluster compared.

don't get me wrong;

ME had some very interesting and cool hardcore RPG elements, it just seemed like they were stuffed into a shell of a game......almost like they were so focused on all the cool, deep RPG elements, they forgot to make a game that was actually fun to play while experiencing all the cool RPG stuff.

i think i made it through like 4 gunfight/battles and was like "naaaaaaah"

If memory serves me correct, i think i was playing my boy's PS3 while he was at work and i was visiting, and had more fun on DC Online at the time

Negative.

Never played a ME game nor a Final Fantasy game for that matter.

*shrugs*

Never cared for FF either.

Tried a few, never saw what the craze was about 7. Almost finished the 1st disc. Stopped caring and never went back to it.

Quick question.

I'm assuming that everyone had a ps1 in here.

Did your ps1 get to the point that you had to put it upside down for it to work?

Any of y'all listen to the Game Informer Show? Something about it just doesn't click with me, but I keep tuning in every week :lol

I tried ME2 and couldn't really get into it. Not to mention the dumb *** DLC model. Think I played a FF game when I was younger and again couldn't really get into it. I'm not really into full-RPG, or turn-based besides Civ

Binge-played the whole ME series over very recently when I had time off and it was worth it.

1 is outdated with the struggle land vehicle, long load times, and auto saving too infrequently sometimes (you can lose an hour of time if you die sometimes) but they're all awesome games. And it's a brilliant universe (no pun intended.)

Not sure how anybody can think 2 and 3 aren't at least worth a play through. Unless you just don't have dedicated chunks of time to play (you realistically need to play in 2 hour sittings to enjoy it.)

2 was one of my favorite games of the last console gen :hat

Kinda disappointed to hear the reaction so far but it hasn't turned me off from wanting to get Andromeda
