Here's an update on my veggie tans old skools:

This is their 2nd coat with the Obenauf's leather oil and while they are getting darker it's taking longer than expected. The bottle says it takes 7 days for the oil to fully sink into leather. I am seeing a purple-ish hue on certain spots (stitching shows best example) & I'm not quite sure what that is (maybe too much oil?). If anyone has tips or info on this whole process it would be greatly appreciated.
