A bit off topic, but can people stop complaining about how different the show is than the comics?? There are very OBVIOUS reasons why the show can not follow the comics' storyline. Given what the TV show crew has done so far, all the negative talk is not at all justified imo.

Back on topic though, how is the only person that knows anything about the virus and the crew's only hope going to just flop over and die?? I literally have no idea how the next season is going to be like. Maybe they'll find another CDC somewhere

damn i felt for shane after watching the hospital intro. but dude shot down any sympathy i had left after he tried to rape lori...because it wasn't enough that you got that broad preggos.

and rick is TOTALLY oblivious to everything with shane and lori, not that im surprised, its just that you would think some way some how, it would've gotten out by now.

i knew that gurney wasn't there on coincidence tho...

last point..andrea is sick. i think she might've gotten scratched by her sister when amy was grabbin her hair. all u need is a little scratch...

great finale. now all i got left to watch is fringe, and to catch up on boardwalk empire.

i was hoping for things to happen, but i guess we'll have to wait for next season...
doubt he said the location of a safe spot though, he kept telling everyone that there's nowhere left to hide.
i hope they let Carl shoot in the next season, hopefully people won't get to worked up over a seven year old kid shooting zombies, and when Michonne (sp) arrives i really want heads to roll literally.

I can't imagine the doctor ever would have let her stay around if he knew she was infected.

She threw up from drinking the night before. And she did ultimately leave.

And anytime a piece of work is based off of something that is already established there is going to be complaints. There are plenty of examples where TV shows or movies have done things right and there are plenty of examples where they've done it wrong. But to take away the discussion about the original source material vs. the new material is to a disservice to the material in both mediums.

I don't see anything wrong with opinions for or against what's going on with the production. That's what this thread should be for, opinion and discussion about the direction of the TV show.

Ahhh you are right about that.  But if it is true, and even though she did leave, I was thinking that could set up season 2;  Everyone finds out she is infected.

OR.... the doctor didn't know she was infected and told Rick something else.  I just think she is infected because of how bad she wanted to stay and die (although her sister's death could have made her do this)

Ah, I see. I was mistaking dissapointment in the different materials for a general dislike towards the show. I can see that, but the show's storyline itself is ,imo, very compelling. Enough violence and gore, yet omitting only the most violent and hideous traits of human nature shown in the comics. The violence in the comics almost made me not want to read. But the genius of the comics was that they made me care enough about the characters to want to know what happens..
