This is the first I've heard of this issue.
If you create a bug report thread here: https://niketalk.com/forums/bug-reports.7410/ , share a description of the problem, your broswer, and OS version, @HellaSteph and/or @SJSupport can look into it for us.
From the sound of it, some interaction between the rich text editor, Chrome, and Swiftkey may be interfering with your spelling suggestions.
In the upper right hand corner, there's a button to switch to the bbcode editor:
You may want to try toggling over to the bbcode editor while entering text with your custom keyboard to see if that's a viable workaround.
There is an update planned for the post editor later this year that will hopefully resolve this problem.

What are the chances of seeing another price drop for the Pixel 2 for President's Day weekend?
Think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and pay full retail
Not sure what bank or credit card you have, but I know some will refund you the difference if there happens to be a price drop after you purchase.
After having my Pixel 2 for more than a month I have no regrets. The best battery life I have had from a phone and its so smooth. I wish the screen to phone ratio was better though. Don't see myself going back to Samsung in the future.

I said eff it, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I was gonna need a new phone sooner rather than later and I could no longer wait. Estimated shipping arrival says between the 16th and 19th, which is fine to me since my b-day is next Wednesday.
What slim cases y'all using? When I had a Nexus 4, I was using that slim Ringke joint and I loved it.

I've been with Ringke since my Nexus 4 as well. Right now I'm using the Ringke Wave case with my Note 8.

eeehhh, went ahead and bought a Fusion, not a big fan of those colorful cases. Since I copped the black Pixel 2, might put on a white skin to give it that XL panda look.I've been with Ringke since my Nexus 4 as well. Right now I'm using the Ringke Wave case with my Note 8.

Don't understand how in 2018 google hasn't grasped that it needs to create a messaging app to surpass imessages to drive people to android.
Besides itunes purchases, iMessage is the main reason alot of people don't want to make the switch

Really wanted to hate the essential phone, but after using it for about a week I gotta say I'm liking it. Coming from the Moto Z Droid it's a bit of adjustment screen wise and I especially miss the the Moto actions but other than that it's been super solid.

Finally called Samsung about my Note 8 screen burn and they want me to take it to their Samsung specialist at Best Buy.
Didn't even know they had one there but hopefully they let me get a new one.

Got the Pixel 2 XL, should be here tomorrow(coming from a Nexus 5x)
My wife followed suit but got the Pixel 2. I already memorized the return policy for her, because she's coming from a Galaxy S8 and she's essentially getting a phone that looks like my 5x appearance wise.
For the first time in many many years I actually have a new phone thats actually new and not been out for over a few years. Is root on this phone mandatory? I've rooted my past 2 phones( Nexus 5x, Nexus 5) but I'm wondering if there is a need to root Pixel 2 XL(besides maybe remapping squeeze function) The goal was always to own a phone that I didn't have to root because it essentially had the features I've always wanted. I'm just wondering if people are still doing custom roms with this phone? I was a Pure Nexus guy myself, but I noticed he's not even up and running just yet.

TBH I only root to have adaway installed, i'm rooted and use the factory image. I'm pretty happy with the phone, people complain about the blue tint but i got pretty used to the screen.

Yeah I remember when I went to look at the phone at BB and went with my wife on the way to my parents house, I was so focused on looking for the blue tint and when I got there and was playing with the demo, I completely forgot about it. We get to my parents pad and my mom wants to go check out the Iphone X and 8 to compare what she's getting to upgrade, so once again we head to BB in their area and I told myself "Ok, time to check out the blue tint."
completely forgot to do it that time too
That's when I knew it really wasn't a factor for me
