zero force closes so far, I flashed around 8 am. Not having the Wifi issue either.
Can't comment on battery life, using a different kernal. but so far haven't noticed anything wrong with this version.

Do any of you guys even do OTA updates, I swear I always have customers complaining about how trash their phones become when they do updates.

I guess the only thing I would ask is if you try to send a text over 160 characters does it actually send? Or does it still hang up like in previous versions?

i just tested this to see if it was a problem and nope, just sent a text with over 250 characters and it sent just fine.

I am relatively new to the Android operating system as I have had an iPhone for the past 4 or so years and now am giving Android(HTC Inspire 4g) a try before the new iPhone releases. So for the Miui Rom, you have to root your device first?

That is correct, you MUST root before you flash any custom ROM. You can try ANY Inspire ROM after you root, look around in the Inspire 4G development section of the link i posted to XDA. MIUI is just one of many good ones and ive tried them all, they are all good.

Read this here i used the Ace Hack Kit to root, this is where i started when i got my Inspire. I wasnt new to rooting since i had a Captivate before, but i would suggest reading for a while before you do anything to your phone.

What phone? You're supposed to shake it on the screen you want to take a picture of. Did it work before? If you are trying to screenshot video it wont work.

The one that looks like mClock? Yea it does, but only in 24hr. You can edit the xml manifest file in it to change it to 12hr. New icons, Lockscreen, UI changes and a couple more new widgets.
