How yall saying G-Unit,?

GRODT -Goes with out saying

Beg For Mercy- 2x Plat

Hunger For More-Plat

The Massacre -5x Plat

Straight Outta Cashville- Plat

Get Rich or Die Soundtrack- 2x Plat

Documentary - 3x Plat

Yayo, Mobb Deep both went gold. Thats a run up there with Death Row :lol

All those albums sold on hype from 50

:rolleyes :lol

Canibus belongs in this thread
Drag-on belongs in here
Loon belongs

Dudes who sold records and stay on the airwaves for 3 plus years do not :lol

You can say Llyod banks as a solo artist belongs cause dude fell off after one album. But the whole crew? nah man

I want to say Pusha and Fab but in reality they been known as good rappers put out greats singles but there hype was minimum at best no one was calling for them to be NEXT UP

Gonna agree with one of the earlier post not a rapper but artist wise no one has failed more to live up to the hype than trey songz other than Jay Electronica (don't even need to go into detail with that one).. Look back at 2009 the R&B game was completely dried up confessions dropped in 04 Future Sex dropped in 05. Trey dropped ready and actually made ppl pay attention to R&B again which is no small task he was supposed to be the next usher or R. Kelly and he just hasn't came close since that album

Yayo's album was dope as hell. The only reason it was described as a "brick" is cause it didn't go platinum, yet it still sold 800K+. There's only like 3-4 songs I didn't really like on there

I cosign the Andre 3000 mention. Dude is the epitome of over rated.

you cosign Andre 3k not living up to the hype when he won an AOTY Grammy, went diamond, and has multiple platinum albums?

s t f u bro.

say you don't like him, but look at the title of the thread and what you just cosigned. you sound like an imbecile.

i swear rap fans are idiots.

if Paul McCartney never did anything solo would you say he didn't live up to the hype even though he was an integral piece

in possibly the biggest band ever? no. you wouldn't.

so how has Andre not lived up to the hype? because you think he sucks?

man don't answer none of those questions, just s t f u.

and yes...you thinking Jeezy is the best southern rapper ever and embodies the south matters.

Dude really put Game on his list. :lol :{

:lol @ Rev Runs kids. Who hyped them up?

Flo Rida has exceeded whatever hype he had. I don't like his music but dude is killing it in the pop world.

Why are dudes treating Andre 3K as a solo artist?? He's in a group that is seen/should be seen as a duo. Neither of those dudes carried an album on their own, stop hyping this dude up.

If you guys heard the album preview of "My Name Is My Name" you will soon realize whatever little momentum dude had is dead. There is a reason why there are so many features on his 12 track project. He's a complimentary rapper to simply put it. Yeah, lyricially he outshines Malice on tracks but that doesn't make him a solid #1.

Anyways my nominee is Juelz. With his verses on "Come Home With Me" and "Diplomatic Immunity" I thought he was going to be bigger than Cam. Then the "I Can't Feel My Face" mixtape dropped and then the album was suppose to drop soon after. From 07-13 we got the Just Blaze track from the Nike Commerical, a verse on a Dipset track, and the god awful "God Will'N" When Cam basically held his album hostage it seemed like dude just gave up in life.

Makes no sense at all.
