Wrestling Thread Nov 3-23 | 11/23 Survivor Series - MAJOR Surprises Planned | Team Cena v Team Autho

Case my prayers are with your wife and your family. Hopefully your wife feels better and things work out positively for you all. Government could be grimy :smh: Stay positive sir.

who would everyone's ideal teams be for survivor series? and I'm a little happy they went back to the main event being a traditional match. I think the whole show would be good if they had all traditional matches.

forget what year it was when dlo the head bangers and godfather all came out dressed as pimps lol
i tried coming up with other teams but i don't even think they have enough folks on the roster to put anything else together :smh:

-Global Force Wrestling made their huge announcement on Tuesday morning, revealing that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross will be doing commentary for Wrestle Kingdom 9, GFW’s first-ever pay-per-view event.

Global Force will be partnering with New Japan Pro Wrestling to broadcast the January 4th Tokyo Dome show in the United States.

-While the English crowd certainly came across as rowdy last night for Monday Night RAW, there was still a heavy amount of editing that had to be done from the live version on TV.

During the Authority’s entrance in the opening segment, there was a loud “Where’s Our Network?” chant, but that had been going on since before RAW went on the air, and a few fans even noted to me that it happened in parking lots and various places in the arena as well. The UK fans were rightfully upset at the last-minute WWE Network delay, and have been vocal about it all the European tour stops this week.

John Cena did manage to curb those chants during his opening monologue, and the Authority drew heat for other reasons, which seemed to kill the chant for the most part for the remainder of the night. While a few CM Punk chants made it to air, notably during the AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella match, we’re told more were edited out.

It’s also likely that when fans appeared to be chanting “E-C-W”, in particular during the Sheamus vs. Rusev match on WWE RAW last night, they were actually chanting for “I-C-W”, the popular Insane Championship Wrestling promotion in Glasgow. That seemed to confuse a lot of people on social media last night, as there was no particular reason to start chanting for ECW, and the WWE Network wasn’t being advertised at the show at all, for obvious reasons, despite it being “ECW Week”.

@casekicks

I was about to run in here just to blab about JJ's move of getting JR to call WK.

But case your posts caught my eye. You're a good guy. I want to let you know that I have you and your wife in my thoughts. ******* government, man.

-Adam Rose vs. “The Bunny” is currently scheduled to serve as the WWE Survivor Series “Kickoff Show” match. It’s worth pointing out that pre-show plans often change, however that is currently the working idea.

-Another match expected for the upcoming pay-per-view is Los Matadores vs. Damien Sandow and The Miz vs. The Usos vs. Stardust and Goldust for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

I can dig a heel Adam rose :lol: with the lack of matches they might as well move that to the main show. Survivor series teams are looking to shape up well

Maybe its me, but I dont know if I can see Jim Ross calling the NJPW ppv as a good thing. Give me a less excited Joey Styles as the play by play guy. Jim Ross was good in the WWF, but not sure if he would be a good play by play guy for the current NJPW product, but it IS a voice that the stateside fans will be familiar with. That will definitely help with getting PPV buys. Can't see him getting excited for the Rainmakaaaaa like he does for a Stone Cold Stunner or a Rock Bottom.

Jim Ross is credible and legit... I can very easily see him being a fan of the product, which is why everyone saw him as a legit MMA announcer, as well as a football announcer... If anything, he is the most legit "real sport" wrestler announcer ever...

And yes he is Def a familiar voice... And that's very important imo...

WWE 2K15 – Creation Suite Details

Author: Lynell Jinks, Art Director, Visual Concepts

As fans of WWE video games, we understand the Creation Suite is extremely important to gamers and one of our most popular features every year. We want everyone to know we’re fully committed to building a solid foundation and an amazing set of customization tools to satisfy in WWE 2K15 and beyond.

Our goal for the Creation Suite was to attain a higher level of quality across the board. The amount of customization options available in previous years was huge, but in order to improve the franchise now and into the future, we had to scale back in order to focus on quality rather than quantity.

For WWE 2K15, we were unable to support new versions of Create-an-Arena, Custom Divas, Create-a-Championship and Story Designer. This decision was extremely difficult, but a necessary one, in order to deliver a more focused and polished game. The primary reason we did not announce these changes earlier is due to the team working until the last minute to retain as many features as possible.

Although some features were removed, we added an incredible new tool that will really change WWE 2K15 and the future of in-game customization: the Superstar Studio. This feature is something fans have requested for a long time, and we’re happy to deliver this key innovation in WWE 2K15. We’ve received very positive feedback on Superstar Studio thus far, but it seems like many want to know how the process actually works!

Players don’t have to be experts with design or art programs in order to use this feature. In fact, they can bypass using an image editing program altogether simply by uploading an image directly to the Superstar Studio website. The only reason to bring an image into an image editing program is to add transparency (or as artists call it, an “alpha”) to an image.

So – how do players download images onto their consoles?
  • First, go to the “Logo Manager” under Community Creations in the WWE 2K15 main menu;
  • You will then be prompted to generate a “Logo Token,” which will show up instantly on screen;
  • You’ll then enter the token on our dedicated webpage on the official WWE 2K website, located at wwe.2k.com/wwe2K15logo;
  • Now, it’s time to upload your images on this page!  By entering your Logo Token, you are granted access to upload up to five images at a time;
  • Once the images are uploaded, locate your images under the “GO TO MY LOGOS” option in WWE 2K15 and proceed to download them;
  • Each user is given 20 slots for downloaded images or any images uploaded by the community. The pixel dimensions for the images can be up to 512 x 512, but it doesn’t have to be exact — just as long as it’s under those dimensions, the tool will scale it to fit;
  • Up to eight different images can be used on your Superstar, but those eight images can be used as many times as you want. Once the image is placed, you can position and scale it.

We will allow players to upload any image to the Superstar Studio, but we ask that they please be on their best behavior!  We are required to have systems in the game that allow users to flag inappropriate content. We will review and moderate those reports, so please keep creations and uploads friendly for all gamers.

In previous years, we allowed players to change the color threads on the Superstars, as well as edit the attire on a limited amount of Superstars.  For WWE 2K15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, not only will you be able to edit the color threads on the Superstars and Divas, but you will also be able to change their attires! The gear of the Superstars and Divas is constantly changing, and we’ve heard feedback from the fans who want to keep their roster members as up-to-date as possible, which you’ll now be able to do! For example, in WWE 2K15, we have Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in their Shield attire. With the features in Superstar Studio, you can very quickly update their gear to match what they are currently wearing by changing their in-ring attire, entrance attire and using the Logo Manager to import their logos for their merchandise.  It’s an extremely quick and easy process for all of our fans.

Every attire part is given a value in the form of points, and a Superstar can use up to 128 points or 64 layers worth of attire parts. These points are shared between in-ring and entrance attires. Editing both the in-ring and entrance attires has never been easier thanks to a new user interface that allows players to seamlessly switch between them by pressing the trigger buttons.  Being able to see both the in-ring and entrance models on the screen at the same time really expedites the entire process.

We are fully committed to expanding the creation abilities in future WWE 2K iterations with improved tools, options and support. We will also make improvements to the Superstar Studio by adding more content into various categories (e.g. beards, clothes, hairstyles, etc.). We’re looking forward to hearing back from all our fans about what’s working and what could be improved in WWE 2K15’s Creation Suite.

Thanks for reading! Fan feedback is important to us, so please let us know what you think, especially when WWE 2K15 arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

So what is Jarretts promotion? Bringing njpw to the usa or will he have his own roster of talent and cable show by end of next year?

I didn't wanna get my hopes up... And nothing was official... And for the record, the one you posted said JR would be calling it in Vegas...

Wouldn't mind a face Cesaro (Sick of being held down by the Authority) ending up with a spot on Cena's team...doubt it happens, of course.

Sidenote, is there any chance Vince throws in the towel and gives up on the Network? They just don't seem to understand how to market it properly, and lack of new content doesn't help. I don't watch it every day, but I certainly don't mind having it. Would be a shame if they axed it after these unrealistic expectations.
