    *OFFICIAL* NIKE LEBRON 15

OMG, y'all are ****ing crazy. These are so fire. This entire marketing campaign has been fire. If not for the Team Orange 95's, they would be batting .1000 right now.

I just saw Ali Vegas' name pop up. Thread officially over.

This is indicative of the sad state that New York rap is in. There are literally over 10 rappers mentioned by name and none of them have responded. Most likely because they view it (like many in here have agreed to) a call to arms to better their own works, not a direct diss requiring some kind...

Jay responding to a King of New York situation is like Kobe responding to a 2nd year player claiming he's an NBA All-Star while others in his class could never be. At this point in their careers, 50 too, worrying about who is KONY is not even registering on their priority list. It truly is...

84 pages and it still surprises me how many people misunderstood or misinterpreted this verse. And that's just NikeTalk. A whole lecture should be given to these rappers "responding" to this verse.

What song are you listening to right now?

Frank's verse > Kendrick's verse. Being serious. The "diss" also cuts deeper than "Control."

Bottom line is that Kendrick's verse on "Control" was the rap equivalent of The 48 Laws of Power. Was it his best verse? Debateable. His most important verse? It's way too soon, but it wouldn't surprise me if it shaped up that way. He was able to lay social media waste to his contemporaries...

Nas wrote "Miami" and Will rapped it, but I'm sure nobody from Queens or Philly is going to claim that song. You know which city it belongs to.

Does it make 2001 any less West Coast? Eminem wrote damn near all the lyrics, but it's still viewed far and wide as a West Coast album. Nobody is/was out there saying 'Oh, 2001? Detroit killed it with that one, y'all.'

To the layman, maybe. But someone like Kendrick should know better. Why not call out Big Boi while he's at it?

You can't tell me rappers like Noreaga or Lil B are any worse then the Ying Yang Twins. There were bad rappers all over. No excuses. Rap is a funny genre where locales take precedent. Each coast has had their turn, so it's natural for some to be salty when they're not on. And Gucci is that...

Basically. Everyone should have come to this conclusion years ago the second Nas and Jungle hopped on a track with Lil Jon.

Pusha T is the only one in the group mentioned that does not belong. He has been rapping (veeeery well) for over 10 years and has had success critically and commercially. He's a vet and is in a different lane than the rest of the guys mentioned (Mac Miller? FOH). Pusha T is a top 5 active rapper...

Word. In between Snoop's first album and the Game's debut, three Tupac albums (AND Chronic 2001) were released. SMH.
