Adams does nothing for this secondary. He's basically a hybrid line backer. 2 weeks in a row a QB has torched this secondary for 400+yrds.

that’s the point. Hawks play single high safety most of the time, once the starting FS Diggs went out, and then his back up Blair went out....you just gotta figure it out on the fly. Adams only good pass rusher the Hawks got, and good run defender as well.

He hasn't been healthy in a while so it's understandable a lot of people forgot how he good he can be.

He was looking like an MVP candidate the first few weeks of his last season starting in Carolina before he went down.

He's as healthy as he's been in years right now and it's showing

One thing being overlooked is Belichik not using that final timeout when there was like 20 seconds left and instead opting to let the clock run down to like 8 seconds. Totally limited how many plays they could've run. 20 seconds and a first down and you get 4 shots into the end zone instead of 2 plays

Probably should have used a TO. Edelman also was hit in the hands in the end zone. He’s not used to catching hard thrown footballs though. He’s used to ducks by a noodle arm. So I get it.

I get it's early, but they clearly were able to take care of their biz in the unconventional offseason.

There will be a team or 2 that gets exponentially better to compete, but so far...its them 2
