I'm not sure why people put RFX on a pedestal. Does he have nice stuff? Yes. But it's just that - stuff. And stuff does not make you happy or bring any sort of happiness into your life what-so-ever. If you're an insecure and miserable, your Gucci leather isn't going to change anything.

Anyways, to answer the OP's question - yes, I'm living comfortably. But I'm still the same person I was a couple of years ago when I just got out of college, had $10k in debt, and was sleeping on my mom's couch.

Shut up...

No ones putting him on a pedestal, people are just wondering what the man does for a living to maintain the lifestyle he lives... its a natural thing called "curiosity"

....You see someone pull up in a Lamborghini and you don't recognize him from any sports teams or TV...the first thing you think is... "Damn, What does he do for a living???"

As far as the "Stuff" goes... theres nothing wrong with splurging on nice "stuff" if you have the disposable income to do so.... I doubt he buys this "stuff" to fill some type of lack of enjoyment in his life....He's just passionate about fashion and he has the ends to exploit this passion....

Man, y'all obsession with dudes occupation is mad creepy. And it's always the same cat who asks the same types of question on some beauty salon gossip !%%!.

I see no problem in asking what someone does for a living... I can understand the 'how much' part though...

While I don't have the responsibility of paying a monthly mortgage, and I'm not really into "splurging", even if it's occasional, I would say that I am living comfortably.

I have enough food to eat.

I have more than enough clothes.

I have an apartment and the rent necessary to keep said apartment month in and month out.

Simply stated, I have the basics covered, and as far as I'm concerned, this should be all that matters.

Funny, last night I did a late night run to my local campus D.P dough 'cause I was studying late in the library. This was at around 1am. As I was heading back to the library, with my Calzone in hand, I heard someone call out to me like "Hey sir...".

I turned around to see who it was and it was, no lie, this old asian lady who just "seemed--out--of--place", especially considering the time of the night and what she was wearing in the weather. Upon turning around, she asked me if she could come with me. I was lil confused but she repeated what she had asked--"can I come and sleep at your house, I'm homeless". I told her I was studying in the library and as such, she couldn't possibly come with me to "my house" because I wasn't heading to "my house". She kept asking, and while I was concerned, I just kept it moving after conversing in statements with her for like 3 minutes.

Dead serious, on the walk back to the library, the ishhhh tore me apart. Like how is it that a woman of her age can be homeless. Even worse, how can she be homeless in a place like Storrs (where I go to school). I mean, while Storrs is obviously a University town, the fact is there is really not much else in the surrounding area (the surrounding town of Mansfield is pretty sparse). On what was a  really cold night, this lady was out in the middle of no where, with no place to go.

I see homeless people all the time when I head to the city (which is where I reside when school is out) so it's w/e to me. I guess I feel like if you're homeless in the city, you at least still have places you can go to find some level of comfort and shelter. But in a place like Storrs/Mansfield, which is somewhat isolated, aint no places for a shivering old homeless person. Couldn't even enjoy my calzone after the fact when I returned back to the library. I mean I ate it, but it just wasn't as delicious as I would've expected it to be.

I guess the point is, if anything, and at the very least, last night I re-learned not to take things for granted. Those basics which many of us do indeed take for granted, would be considered luxurious for a good number of people in our country.

That's the point we don't know why he buys the stuff he buys.  You're assuming that's the reason he does.  People do different things for different reasons.  I agree otherwise though nothing wrong with asking someone their profession as long as you don't ask how much money they make in their profession.

Im telling you....The man likes Fashion...He has a blog about it.

If you look at his posts...not every fashionable item he buys is "expensive"

If I had the disposable income to buy every BMW on the market, I would....Because I love BMW's and cars....Not because im trying to fill any void of unhappiness

my guess is that people are more curious in what he does because he always side steps the question. they're more interested in him because he always post about how he buys that latest $500 leather jacket like it's nothing
