I don't understand why people think that collabs with only a few colors on them are considered to have no effort put into them.  Sometimes they're the most creative with the story and influence behind them. I also think they tend to look the best. I would rather havea shoe with 2 or 3 colors that go well together than a shoe that has 6 or 7 different colors that looks mismatched and off.

I think one of the best collabs ever is the concepts Tannery 998. They only used 3 colors and it came out fantastic. Anymore colors on that shoe and they could have messed it up. Just my opinion.

+1... there are a bunch of collabs that don't have many colors yet they are really sought after. Look at the RF coves and mints... I really like my concepts NB Rosé as well. These 8 ball/blow GLV's are growing on me.

IMO.... If a shop has a chance to work with a vendor to create something new. Use that to their advantage. That's all.

I don't know if you guys seen this or if anybody here is into history but there was a great 3 piece article published on size? blog by Gary Warnett called Onitsuka Tiger and ASICS: The History. I finally took the time and read it. Really like those back stories and I finally learned about the Gel Lyte 4

I agree. Concepts is usually about packaging these days. Back when they did the Nike SB Lobster pack, they went hard to be creative. Not saying what they're putting out these days is bad, just simpler. Something new to suit the changing market. With these glv's, some people may relate to them and others will not. You can't please everybody. I myself got the 997 Rose's but won't be getting these "8 Ball / Blows"

Received my Mitas today. Rather meh. Thought I'd give them a shot and see if I like them, shoulda stuck to my first impression. Sombras came in too though, and they are straight fire. Makes me regret I didn't go for the sols as well.
