I like Barkley but he sound like a #%%*%, quite frankly. Lebron is a grown man. Why can't one man make a decision for his own livelihood without catching a fire storm?

Exactly. And to slightly expound on this, I honestly can't believe that we are ripping someone for trying to put themselves in what they feel is their best position to win. Never in my life have I seen the media and fans rip someone for wanting to win. We sit around and *!+%% about the lack of ambition from athletes, but now we are mad? I don't get it.

If the team can win 66 games in season and be touted as favorites, not making it to the finals is simply a choke job by everyone associated with the team.

Trevor Ariza? Really? He plays the same position as LeBron.
laugh.gif
And they already got Parker and Moon who are similar players.
The Cavs settled for Parker and Moon after Ariza turned them down because he couldn't get reassurance LeBron was going to stay.
It doesn't really matter why he turned down the Cavs because he picked the Rockets end of the day knowing that Yao Ming was injured (I'm sure he wanted to stay in LA, but his agent over estimated the value of him). So he was worried about LeBron leaving the Cavs, but didn't care that McGrady and Yao were going to be on the bench injured? But honestly, KB8 brought up Trevor Ariza like he was a legit option that will make LeBron stay. That was my initial "Trevor Ariza?" response.

really? then why was lebron actively recruiting him and LYING to him? go ahead, ill wait for your excuse. i bet that's not the only free agent that was turned off by lebron's lack of commitment to the organization either.

at you guys acting like trevor was garbage before he played this season with the rockets. again, if he is your teams 1st or 2nd option, its NOT his fault.
I don't think Ariza is garbage. But any team with him as your second or third option will not be competitive enough to win it all. So no point in bring dude's name up like the Cavs missing out on him was that impactful. The Lakers just won without dude so lets be clear that Ariza is a role player with potential for more for now.

You know that is true if we make the assumption that it was the Cleveland James that won 66 games and lost to Boston. But that only makes LeBron seem like the best player ever to able to win 66 games by himself in the league.

when did i say that?

all im getting at is that lebron's lack of commitment to stay with the cavs turned away free agents. you can go ahead and say that the organization did nothing for him, but should'nt lebron get some of the blame?

at saying the cavs should have gotten help for him. THEY TRIED. how are you going to lure free agents there when he was low key planning his way out? why would ANYONE go there if they know theres a chance that he's going to dip out, like hes been hinting for the last 3 years. acting like the organization didn't do everything they could to help him out. %%@$ outta here.

that's the point if they had gotten someone he wouldn't have left.
Thank You. That's exactly my point.

If the team can win 66 games in season and be touted as favorites, not making it to the finals is simply a choke job by everyone associated with the team.

Exactly...dudes act like Kobe doesn't have a loaded team in Pau, artest, bynum, and odom off the bench (who would be starting on a lot of other nba teams) to get him these 2 championships.

If LeBron doesn't play as hard as he does, then it's "He's not a good player", when he does his job, but his team can't give him the leverage he needs to win a championship, he's a choke artist. He wins the MVP 2 years in a row (something Kobe hasn't done yet, which is an award that's distributed to the best player in the NBA) and guys are still telling me he's not a great player. It really is a "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" situation. What more do you want the guy to do?

But honestly, KB8 brought up Trevor Ariza like he was a legit option that will make LeBron stay. That was my initial "Trevor Ariza?" response.

I don't think Ariza is garbage. But any team with him as your second or third option will not be competitive enough to win it all. So no point in bring dude's name up like the Cavs missing out on him was that impactful. The Lakers just won without dude so lets be clear that Ariza is a role player with potential for more for now.

when did i say that?

all im getting at is that lebron's lack of commitment to stay with the cavs turned away free agents. you can go ahead and say that the organization did nothing for him, but should'nt lebron get some of the blame?

Cleveland's front office lack of commitment in bringing in a legit second option to LeBron turned away LeBron's commitment to the Cleveland as well.

Like I mentioned, if Ariza was so scared of LeBron bailing after one year, why didn't he care that Yao and T-Mac being injured in Houston? Ariza would still be a Laker if he only cared about winning. Not saying he doesn't, but he and especially his agent probably felt it was time to showcase himself more with his new contract.

Once again, Trevor Ariza tho? At least use a better example with someone that can actually make a bigger impact in Cleveland.
