I don't love accounting though, I see a lot of pharmacists who really see their career as something meaningful at he end of the day.....NT...anyone jump into pharmacy this late in the game, what do you guys think?

Sad truth is that with a ton of new schools coming up, centralized pharmacy around the corner (Wags is currently testing it somewhere down south, so I can see it being implemented in retail within the next 20 years), the economy being stagnant, and chain pharmacies doing everything they can to pinch pennies you will have a hard time getting that "raise" every year. I've been doing it a few years and I'm happy to take an annual inflation raise every year just so I'm not making less money than the previous year.
I skimmed the article.
Yeah, I heard about how it's getting saturated.
Another Pharmacy student told me how in like 4-5 years there's gonna be 32,000 more pharmacists than there are jobs.

I also heard compounding is going to be very important in the future, which is awesome because compounding sounds like fun.

Great pay, work for a few year...build up your capital and start looking into real estate and owning your own local pharmacy.

More money to be had in both places...

I used to work with a plastic surgeon in undergrad and he always told me that you can never have enough degrees. He had his MD/MBA and was KILLING it. If it's something you really wanna do, I'd say go for it.
And to OP, congratulations! I hope to be sharing this same feeling next year when med school is finally over and done with.
