That DOES NOT translate in Latin America.
Because da term african American are its OWN ethnicity SEPARATE from latin American.

Thats outdated, da census i posted up are da 2020 update "BECAUSE MOST HISPANICS "CHOSE OTHER RACE" instead of white or black in 2010.

I brought it up because this is a piece of the information I track on a regular basis for about 15000 residents in New York City Housing Authority developments. Residents self declare race and ethnicity, so I have a fair understanding of the topic at hand.at bringing up NYCHA
I'm not sure if the designatons change depending on where you look, so I'm letting you all know where I'm working from.

In all fairness, Black and White are political constructs. "African-Americans" and I quoted that because of how many generations we've been removed from Africa, are no more than dark-skinned Americans. Only African-Americans are those that really immigrated from Africa and call the U.S. home.
