I WANT TO ENCOURAGE A MORE CONSTRUCTIVE DISCUSSION OVER RACE RELATIONS ON NT

I put my screen name up if Meth can come and say I ever reported somebody in my life.

Hop off.

These dudes be making up their own myths

The US is not the most diverse country.

NY most diverse city though.
Which is why....

NY>CA

I was gonna say, the U.S. is not all that diverse or any more diverse than many places in South America and the Caribbean.  But I just let him be ignorant

Fam the US houses the most diverse city on the planet...within a 20 mile radius you can practically experience a little of but from nearly every place in the world....what other country offers that type of diversity within that small a radius.

Once again NYC is not the most diverse city in the world and the U.S is not the most diverse country in the world

Nah b, I'm giving you black nh and euro Diego.

I'm not giving up on this one though.
NY too lit to have this argument again.

if the US classifies latinos as one race based on geography, than why dont we practice the same here in the states and remove colors and use US American as our race?

"These and other African countries typically rank high on any diversity index because of their multitude of tribal groups and languages."

I wonder if within walking distance I can buy a Gyro, mofongo, dumplings, pizza and curry chicken and hear, people speak Spanish, Russian, English, Indian, Italian, etc in Chad.

I think we have two different ideas of what's considered "diversity"

Been asking this question since page one, they want latinos to be one race but won't accept Americans as one race...figures. :lol

I definitely don't want Americans to be one race, until racial injustices are addressed.

Who said we don't accept anything that doesn't pertain to us? :rollin

We have no say in how you would want to self-identify...African Americans for the most part self identify as black, so do Jamaicans, Haitians and those other groups you brought up....i already said if that's incorrect you have every right to make the correction and let me know how you as an individual would like to self-identify and I will respect your wish....till then you are black because that's what the vast majority of African Americans, Jamaicans, etc identify as themselves.....black Latinos may or may not identify as black...that's their choice also...if a black Latino identifies as LATINO it doesn't automatically mean he's ashamed of his roots or a racist or whatever other insecurities you are trying to project on him :lol he simply identifies by his Latino heritage above else....which is very common, specially here in NYC.

For every ninjahood, Diego and Steezy there is an Immortal Technique :Nthat

You a clown, dancing and prancing around such a simple and harmless concept trying to demonize Latinos as a whole because IN America we rather identify as Latinos, somehow this means we hate black people, we hate white people, we hate everyone that's not us...smh.

Actually when I ask Haitians and Jamaicans, they tell me they are Jamaican or Haitian. They just don't mind the black label.

But do they tell you, I'm a black Haitian? I'm a black Jamaican? Yet you want NH to tell you he's a black Dominican :rollin

Majority of people that you ask "what are you" will tell you the country they or their parents are from even if they are not first generation Americans they will often still rep even their grandparents home land....when I'm asked I don't say I'm Latino, I say I'm Colombian....culturally I fall under the ethnic label of Latino HERE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

I've lost a lot of respect for ksteezy in this thread. Not because of what he's arguing...but because how he's arguing it and the fact he continues to argue it. Get a life dude. I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just dumbfounded at why you continue to engage in this. You have to have something better to do :lol

Ninjahood and Diego still cool in book :Nthat

Not that my opinion matters for anything.

Um no, but if I call them black they really don't mind it. I wouldn't say black Jamaican, I just say black...Ninjahood is black AND latino.

Funny cause you say "Black American" all the time, why not just American?

I say black American?....when did I even say that?

Well bro, that's your problem...I'm not really looking for a title as most respected NTer....if I have something to say I'm gonna say it, you lost respect for me because I'm standing up for self-identity, oh well....as far as having something better to do, I'm not arguing with myself on here....I'm sure Anton has something better to do himself or not...

You didn't answer why question, why do Haitians and Jamaicans accept being called black and not ninjahood?

And why aren't Haitians Latino?

Son HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GONNA ASK THE SAME QUESTION and get the same answer b....

If a Haitian wants to self-identify as Latino they can do so and I'm not gonna tell them they can't.
