Kanye West: King of the Sunken Place, "Watch the Throne"

The fact that people are unable to separate the 2 is questionable to me.
Are you black? Are you Jewish?

It's not really that hard to see why people would have trouble supporting someone who says disparaging things about large swaths of people (himself included).

I'm sure there were some extremely talented nazi's, I don't care to look into their creations.

Ye no where near the level of stardom or influence he once had. At this point I'd have to go out of my way to check for him and his products. It's truly easier than ever to just ignore dude. I think a lot of his fans and even some of his old stans have just come to this realization.

I’m black but that’s irrelevant imo. I just am never under any circumstances going to take anything personally or be offended by a celebrity or a person I don’t even know for that matter. Hell even a person I do know. I just don’t take things personally or find offense to things I don’t agree with. Doesn’t mean I condone it. There’s no value in it. But I understand most people will feel differently and that’s okay as well.

lol I’m all good with Ye doing his thing. Artists are different but yo.. I’m dying at “Nas rapping all off beat and shhhh”

So here you wanna play dumb

But now when it’s convenient you use it to say they planted Cardi b?

🤡 🤡 🤡

He later advised a Jewish Adidas manager to kiss a picture of Hitler every day, and he told a member of the company’s executive board that he had paid a seven-figure settlement to one of his own senior employees who accused him of repeatedly praising the architect of the Holocaust.

Dude truly is a top tier low life.

Adidas wasn’t helping their cause at all. I understand dropping him. But if you’re going to do it under the guise of a moral stance, under no circumstances do you double back and then continue to sell the product out of greed cuz you’re taking a financial L. They’re upholding a very negative stereotype

Im surprised Adidas didn't just sue him for the money they lost.
I doubt they would win

They put up with the flagrant behavior for a decade, expanded their relationship in that time.

Ye's lawyer would just argue they knew what he was about and kept working with him.

I think a judge and/or just would be open to that argument.

Dude started his relationship with adidas execs by showing them porn and abusing the company's employees, so they can't argue they didn't what he was about.

When it was time to renew his contract, they gave him even MORE money upfront in addition to the royalties he was already getting. All this time, this man had the gal to complain about how he's being used.

He had Adidas by the balls. They couldn't sue him, so they had to recoup all that they invested into the Yeezy brand by selling the rest of the shoes.

That was a stupid move by adidas.
