well that's the thing. some civil liberties just give us an immediate easy option or access to such weapons. so-called security checks dont really work that well to safeguard the public. I was just watching some discussion a few days ago regarding the radicalization of the U.S. by Trump and it has become really scary now. we see those white supremacy rallies still exist and allowed and I'm not even sure why such divisive organization still exist in this modern age. and they hide behind a certain civil rights amendment to exercise such despicable belief. if one civil right nullifies the other or conflicts the other civil rights, then such liberties shouldn't even exist. we are not exactly using them to fight off invaders, what is happening is we are using it amongst ourselves. and Russia is laughing right now. It's not gun enthusiasm alone and it's not mental health or the wealth gap alone. It's the combination of factors that produces the level of violence we see, whether street violence or random violence. We don't deserve to be a gun enthusiast country until we get the other social issues sorted out.

there's over 300 million people in the country. you think its realistic that at some point in the future we could actually get all of the issues in our society sorted out?
realistic or not, that only means a lot of work and effort "IS NEEDED" to be done to restructure American society. just look how many millions of americans voted for a sociopath like Trump and continue to believe such a lie.there's over 300 million people in the country. you think its realistic that at some point in the future we could actually get all of the issues in our society sorted out? i think the idea of that sounds crazy.

Which answers your question. It’ll never be fixed . This country has been more like Trump since it’s inception 400+ years ago. It’ll only get worse or remain the same. You gotta get in where you fit in
if people aren't going to start to try and atleast show some change, then America in itself is going that path of being divided rather than united. it is funny though how the U.S. stand for something is ended up eating crow. while it seems to criticize other countries of misdeed and how it branded Russia and Communism as evil, the U.S. on the otherhand has it's own dirty secrets.Which answers your question.
