looks very realistic nothing else. On the other hand that Paranormal Activity movie looks interesting.
Horror flicks don't scare me how they used to anymore

.

If you watch a Horror film with the "Hey Im gonna watch this and prove to everyone I aint scared of nothing" mentality
then you will trully miss the art of the film.

Also for those who want to watch it. Make sure you watch the uncut version.

Take it for what it's worth...but I actually realllly enjoy "The Descent." I say enjoy because I watch it from time to time.

The elements of horror portrayed in this movie are great. The confined spaces, dark scenes, and even the monsters. Def. one of my favorite films.
I actually enjoyed this movie too! I liked how it immediately started with one of the beginning scenes.

you know what i liked it too, no it wasnt the best movie out but wasnt the worst, it entertained me, and its crazy cuz something like that can really happen
go watch ILS (Them) instead.

also i recommend Eden Lake, its a lot like Deliverance, which is one of my favorite movies. so if any of you digged that then definitely check it out.

paranormal activity seems like a good movie
its too bad it didn't get released and is instead going to be remade
Not mad. They should take their time with that concept. Seems like it will come out great.
Anybody got any word on Jeepers Creepers 3?
I loved the Jeepers Creepers movies and so I was excited to find out part 3 is coming out THIS YEAR! JEEPERS CREEPERS 3

**Edit to add** I like how they are bringing back original characters from the 1st & 2nd movie.

Also my favorite 'horror' movies are the Saw series, I realize they are full of gore, but I personally like the way the characters are put through"tests" that are actually possible...it is both interesting and suspenseful.

If y'all looking for a scary ghost movie with a good plot, Thai's Shutter is a must watch. (Note: NOT the remake)

Here's a few suggestions...

The Hills Have Eyes (70's version...inbred hill people = horrifying)
Don't Look Now (This one's got a crazy ending...more suspense than gore)
The Vanishing (another crazy...ending same as DLN)
The Evil Dead (Before the series got too mixed up with comedy)
The Devil's Rejects (A case of the sequel being way better than the first...don't even bother with that House of 1000 Corpses trash)
Magic ("evil ventriloquist dummy" is all that needs to be said)
Dawn of The Dead (IMO the best of Romero's films...mostly really frightening stuff...the biker parts are a little hokey though)
The Thing (John Carpenter at his very best)
Event Horizon (reeeeeeaaaally creepy outer space joint)
Stir of Echoes (I don't understand why this movie doesn't get more love)
Pet Semetary (Honestly I think the scoliosis sister is way scarier than the murderous dead kid)

ahhh that's it for now
I definitely agree with you on the Pet Semetary sister being more scary!!!

Have you seen "See No Evil"? When I saw it in theatres, I literally jumped in my seat a few times.

List of Upcoming Sequels/Prequels

These are the ones I want to see:

  • 30 Days of Night 2
  • Cabin Fever 2
  • Cannibals
  • The Child's Eye
  • The Descent 2
  • The Final Destination
  • H2
  • I am Legend (Prequel)
  • Messengers 2 (Prequel)
  • The Ring 3
  • Saw VI
  • Silent Hill 2
  • The Strangers 2
  • Wrong Turn 3

LOL the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is childs play compared to the following movies-

Martrys
Inside
Eden Lake
High Tension
The Descent
Frontiers (A gullier version of the Texas chainsaw massacre archetypal tale)
Wolf Creek

Foreign horror>>American horror

Cannibal Holocaust
Hills Have Eyes
Nosferatu
Drag me to hell

Really?

I mean, really?

That movie is in no ways scary.

It was entertaining, though.

They really coming out with a Strangers 2, the 1st one was so garbage, can't believe I wasted my money on seeing that in the theater when it came out.
