Kiwi beneath top 5 arguments. He the best player in the game

kawhi deserves mvp off the strength of playing college basketball at one of the biggest party schools in California and not having multiple illegitimate children and chlamydia

The SDSU parties ive been to back in the day were something else

As much as i don't like the spurs, kiwi gotta be the most underrated super star in recent years. bruh just wins and plays so damn effectively at every facet of the game. but like DMan14 alluded to, he doesn't have the national media hangin off his scrotum in the way russ or harden does.

solid play and winning? kawhi has that. if the spurs somehow overtake the w's in first, then he is probably a lock.
he just needs that espn hype behind him. think he may show out tonight on national tv
that doesn't mean he's the best player

i went to a UCSD and SDSU party and those were total opposites.

in some voter's eyes it does. history has shown winning matters in mvp voting

just curious about why we're so caught up in MVP discussions and enamored by "best player arguments" when it's a sport where no one person (no MVP) wins a championship by themselves? like in the grander scheme of things, we could split hairs between harden and russ all day but realistically, none of us believe either of them dudes are hoisting the larry o'brien this year.

We hate the notion of "hero ball" but isn't that what harden and russ are doing?

All about folks wanting players to get their "due/credit/recognition" and to a lesser extent, bias

I agree, MVP isn't all that. If they just gave it to the most outstanding, Lebby should have been winning every year.. oops I mean John Wall
