Why would I go all the way to Vegas just to drink tall boys, eat McDonalds, and sleep in a room with 6 dudes over 30, possibly on the floor? That's some frat house college lifestyle ****

I'm not about that cheapskate life when I'm on vacation, especially in Vegas.

THIS. When people are cheap in Vegas that irks my soul. I learned my lesson on which friends to bring with me there, when I went there the first time I brought a friend who was the cheapest of all cheap. He didn't wanna eat a good dinner..no steakhouses or buffets, etc. He was searching for a McDonald's and subway sandwiches for the entire trip. Didn't wanna even risk $1 for gambling or entertainment. Avoided a lot of stuff due to spending cause he constantly had to compare and think about prices. The list goes on and on. Funny thing is before the trip he was hyping it up about how he'll experience restaurants there and do this and that . I don't understand, why go to Vegas if you're going to penny pinch. Dude even slept at 9-10pm every night while I rolled solo myself while he was sleeping in the room like he had a curfew or something lol. I remember I couldn't wait to come back home so I can ditch the dude. Never really hit him up again for anything and I think he knew why.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely eat on the cheap for, like, lunch and stuff. I'll pop into Casino Royale for $1.99 hot dogs or pop into McDonald's for a couple cheeseburgers. The Venetian food court is pretty solid too. But those are really just cheap, quick bites for energy. Need fuel for the day and I don't always want to sit down and eat a full-on meal at a place for lunch.

Ditch Friday's was lit when I went a few years back. I'm sure theres better out there now but I don't imagine if fell off that much since then.

Keep in mind that XS was built before Vegas clubs really had multiple rooms like Marquee, Hak, etc. do. There's not much they can do, and they're certainly not turning a restaurant into a hip-hop room at night. That's a logistical nightmare.

That's true. In my mind I was thinking something like lavo.

Also, there's the fact Steven Wynn wouldn't be caught dead with a club room on his property dedicated to mainstream hip-hop. He doesn't want that crowd on at Wynncore.

This. There is a stereotype about hip-hop clubs but if you pick the cream of the crop and make it exclusive then no need to worry.

That's essentially what Drais does a lot of nights. They have their niche, not trying to compete with XS and Omnia at night.

Yeah ppl like Chris Brown, Weeknd, Future perform there. It's a solid option if hip hop is a 100% must (don't agree with this thinking but I understand it)

I don't agree either. Want to be at the best/hottest club in town with most beautiful women. Don't care about the music cuz it all sounds good when you're on one.

Planning my first trip to Vegas for this October or September

I keep telling my girl I wanted to go with our tax returns to ball out, get a hella nice hotel room and just blow a bunch of money but she seems to think that Vegas can be done the same way any other trip can be done. She keeps pushing for this October and September so I just shrugged and said okay.

I tell her I'm ready to spend ALL TEH MONEYZ and lose it all and she's just like "can't we just get a cheaper hotel somewhere else in Vegas?" and I'm like "NO. NEVER."

Even though I'm in LA I still plan out to get the best deals and I look forward to it.

Plus I'm only driving if it's a Saturday to Monday non holiday weekend. Otherwise I'm flying, that drive back Sunday sucks. Not worth it with round trips for under 200
