Seriously been looking at San Antonio or somewhere in between Austin and SA along I35. Seen plenty of decent homes going for $250K.

Don't let Texas "cheapness" fool you though. Property taxes here are a joke, and it's not a joke that'll make you laugh.

My friend has been awfully quiet since relocating from CA to Texas lol. I asked him about the cost of living and he's deflected lmao

Austin is expensive. San Antonio is rising. Traffic is terrible in both and drivers are crazy aggressive.

I live in Austin, got friends that live in Buda and coworkers in San Marcos. Doubt I could love in either or Kyle or any of the garbage between the 2 cities.
