Meh, I don’t see it being ban worthy
It’s just comedic ignorance when it comes to stuff like tax or health care
Just laugh at it and let the wind blow

Word of advice, go and consult a decent attorney in the states and then one down there.. especially if it is going to you personally (say by a will)

Your American citizenship could impact that (where FATCA comes in.. and CRS is replacing it).. there are things you can do with legal structural entities within the jurisdiction

However the American government is even going beyond those within a few jurisdictions, so I've heard.. and it's called estate planning.. the legal entities are a trust, foundation or company

A generally make it a point to avoid anything you say because it has zero value, in my opinion.. but this is kinda what I do

Yo fam I just read up on that I'm scared now. Should I sign my savings and cd's over to a family member?

Bruh.....

I really hope all these pedo defenders are remembered.

Can't let these fools off the hook once Moore is gone.

**** CNN for giving these morons and criminals a platform to spew their disgusting rhetoric. Defending child molesters/stat rapists by comparing those disgusting actions with being pro-choice? **** them. **** Stephen Moore. **** the others like him. And **** CNN.

Which country?

Im assuming within the Caribbean.. and you got dual citizenships

And we talking just bank related stuff? We talking any property or anything else potentially too?

my recommendations would be layers and/or separation.. Asset(s) in a company.. then put the shares in a foundation or trust (obviously this is dependent on overly worth)

Depending on inheritance, then you gotta know if there is a will(s) and where whoever lives.. but it goes back to the whole separation thing.. as much as you can you want to keep your citizenships separate

The economic-anxiety argument retains a great deal of currency. As Mark Lilla, a Columbia professor, put it while defending the thesis of his book in an interview with Slate, “Marxists are much more on-point here. Their argument has always been that people become racist—and there are lots of reasons why they do, but the people who might be on the edge are drawn to racist rhetoric and anti-immigrant rhetoric because they’ve been economically disenfranchised, and so they look for a scapegoat, and so the real problems are economic. I think they’re closer to the truth right now than to think that somehow just some racist demon is directing everything in this country. It’s just not where the country is.”

Lilla’s argument falls apart at the slightest scrutiny: Wealth does not insulate one from racism, or the entire slaveholding planter class of the South could not have existed. Rather, racism and nationalism form an ideological lens through which to view suffering and misfortune. It is perhaps too much to expect that people who hope to use Marxist theory to absolve voters of racism cite those Marxist historians whose body of work engages precisely this topic.

Even professors are not immune to ninjahoodisms.

Particularly in the 2008 campaign, Obama emphasized his uniqueness as an African American—his upbringing by his white grandparents, his elite pedigree, his public scoldings of black Americans for their cultural shortcomings. It takes little imagination at all to see how someone could hold racist views about black people in general and still have warm feelings toward Obama.

I have seen it action a few times, when I received comments suggesting that I wasn't like those others, or some white people asking me to explain the crime levels of poor Chicago neighborhoods. Like, gee, how about you listen to their grievances observe *** they're working to make their communities better instead of asking the black immigrant you think is a unicorn?

Cautioning that there are limits to social science, Abrajano told me that “all other things being equal we see that immigration has a strong and consistent effect in moving whites towards the Republican Party. I think having the first African American president elected into the office ... you can't disentangle immigration without talking about race as well, so that dynamic brought to the forefront immigration and racial politics more broadly, and the kind of fear and anxiety that many voters had about the changing demographics and characteristics of the U.S. population.” The Slate writer Jamelle Bouie made a similar observation in an insightful essay in March 2016.

This.

Birtherism is a synthesis of the prejudice toward blacks, immigrants, and Muslims that swelled on the right during the Obama era: Obama was not merely black but also a foreigner, not just black and foreign but also a secret Muslim. Birtherism was not simply racism, but nationalism—a statement of values and a defining of who belongs in America. By embracing the conspiracy theory of Obama’s faith and foreign birth, Trump was also endorsing a definition of being American that excluded the first black president. Birtherism, and then Trumpism, united all three rising strains of prejudice on the right in opposition to the man who had become the sum of their fears.

In this sense only, the Calamity Thesis is correct. The great cataclysm in white America that led to Donald Trump was the election of Barack Obama.

Oh hell yeah, is a fact we now have a Donald J Trump because we had Barack Obama...this was the push back of white fragility...as much as I hate it, I'm starting to feel it was a necessary evil that exposed how truly racist this nation is...not only coming from white Americans, but also Latinos and even some blacks who identify easier with white values than their own for some insane, unexplained reason.

At this point in time I with all confidence consider ANYONE that still supports Trump as either a racist, a xenophobe, a sexist or all of the above...that clown is vile personified....you support him, you support what he stands for...I don't wanna hear the lame excuse of "oh I definitely don't agree with everything he says" which from my experience is a go-to thing to say from Trump supporters that still wanna be viewed as good people...foh

And, by the way, hold your comments for Ninjahood. He won't be rejoining this discussion for quite some time.
And we wonder why Trump won the election ...

This board is a microcosm of society ... We have the majority of conversation being dominated by left-leaning, narrow minded folks who are held to a lower standard of decorum under the guise of having a "more accurate" opinion ...

Then, as with mainstream media, the few dissenting voices are censored in the form of warnings or bans ...

In the end, we have the Hillary effect where the majority of people in discussion are reinforcing their comrades' opinions, while a groundswell of revolt brews ... We all saw how this situation ends up which is why I am comfortable with it ...

Do I think the Republicans will win the next presidential election? No, given the divisive rhetoric of our president and the come to Jesus moment that the Left had after experiencing the epic L that I described above ... But it gives me peace that the courts are engrained with conservative values for decades and the lethargic bug will most certainly bite the liberal elites down the road - probably 2028 after 8 years of another empty suit Liberal ...

You keep thinking this is a liberal vs conservative war...that's all conservatives like yourself can think of...this is about what is right and what is wrong, it's about morality, it's about values...all which have gone out the window following this president, we now ignore facts, we back pedophiles as long as they push our agenda, we have a president that openly bullies just about anyone NOT named Vladimir, a President that has 0 respect for women...you talking about conservative values yet one of the most conservative states in America is about to elect a man that preyed on children!!!!!!!! These are the values you stand for?

Steezy - who did you back? The vile candidate who is married to a man who raped women as president of the united states AND had the nerve to denounce the claims and actively cover then up?

This is what kills me with these debates ... It's like no one on either side recognizes the flaws or is even allowed to approach recognizing the flaws of their candidate without being dismissed as a bigot ...

NEWSFLASH! You don't have to align with everything a candidate has ever done or said to support them ... In fact, most elections are the lesser of two evils centered on strands of diplomacy that aren't even discussed in the media ... I know a business owner who voted for Trump because he fired 5 people due to Obamacare and couldn't sleep at night ... But he's just a racist bigot *******, right?

0 respect for women? What are you even saying? He surrounds himself with women, ya know, giving them jobs in his camp ... Maybe he said some demeaning stuff ... OK, he also has said some great stuff ... Maybe he made a poor decision in the past, OK he also made some very good decisions ...

The hypocrisy is not only astonishing, it is laughable ... Literally NONE of us could cast a vote if we had to align with EVERYTHING a candidate has ever said or done ... Hell, Hillary was a flip flopping son of a gun her entire career who defended rapists ...

Actually you usually get banned from threads if you continue to troll it, that in itself used to be ban worthy even if your individual posts don't violate. ie you're in a sports team thread but you don't support that team and insult the posters intelligence repeatedly.

Well I should've kept reading.

Birtherism was a political tactic used to lay the groundwork to win the presidency ...

Do some people in America absolutely suck? Yes ... That goes for the racist white guy in the plains and the "progressive" teacher who teaches 3rd graders that it's ok and normal to choose your sex each day ... There are ****** up people in this world ... Ok ...

But to sit here and act like birtherism was a widespread belief held by all white people is about as ignorant as the claim ...

People do ****** up **** to win elections ... They exploit even dumber people across the country ... Let's not create this widespread Van Jones esque dilemma of America ...
