like asking Kamala if she’s a socialist.. or wolf acting nancy when the decaying turtle specifically states what he is and isn’t going do

If able, just go to lowkey early voting spot. just google the county you're in & it'll tell u all the places.

I’m fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it not in Florida anymore and that’s where I’m registered to vote. I would absolutely drop it off or vote in person even if I was able to.

You guys should read this to see how scary Kavanaugh's opinion is. Dude is interpreting the constitution in such an extreme way that he is saying state legislatures have the ultimate power over election issues. So if a Republican state legislature wants to suppress voters, there is nothing a Democratic governor, or State Supreme Court can do. He is not only lining up a way for a Republican to steal a presidential election, but he is also lining up a way for the GOP to still gerrymander in states like WI, PA, and NC. Even if Dems have veto power over the districts.

I try to avoid being an alarmist but I'm concerned. My understanding is that the legal issue relates to Wisconsin is allowing absentee ballots to be received and counted until November 9th if postmarked before November 3rd. As it relates to elections, Article II of the Constitution provides:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress

translated: the constitution says state legislatures can determine their own election rules. So Wisconsin makes the change to its election rules stated above allowing ballots to be received and counted if postmarked before the 3rd but cutting off receipt after the 9th. This is a state law issue which is to be determined by the wisconsin supreme court.

kavanaugh's concurrence indicates he believes that if a state legislature creates a law, and the state's supreme court interprets it a certain way, the us supreme court can overrule the state supreme court's decision if the us supreme court thinks the state supreme court deviates too far from what the state legislature intended. if the state legislature doesn't like a state supreme court's interpretation of its legislation, it needs to rewrite its legislation to more clearly express their intent. kavanaugh's concurrence destroys the concept of dual sovereignty.

Buc-ees has that fire jerky.

Buc-ees has that fire everything.

The media has gotten so high and drunk off the ratings and revenue Trump has brought them. They won't say it but they secretly want a second term for Trump.

His presidency has certainly catapulted the careers of several journalists, comedians, and authors

Yup. No better than Facebook and Twitter with their BS. They pretend to be unbiased, pretend to respect both side, but in the end, provide more of a platform for idiots than everyone against them

She's a white woman from Kentucky who grew up well-off.
I mean I get that, but she entered into liberal spaces at a relatively young age. So since she left her bubble surely she was exposed to enough contradictory opinions where she could have shifted her stance. It took Trump taking the mask off, and making the country even more partisan for her to say she had it.

you know what's sick about this?

Obama nominated Myra Selby, a black woman, to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in January 2016. Per Selby's wikipedia:

From 1980 to 1983, she practiced at the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw. In 1983, she joined the Indianapolis, Indiana, law firm of Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan (now Ice Miller), as an associate in the health care group from 1983 to 1988 and the first African-American partner from 1988 to 1993.[3] From 1993 to 1994, she served as the Director of Health Care Policy for the State of Indiana under Governor Evan Bayh. As Director of Health Care Policy, she was responsible for policy development and the execution of state health care programs.

In 1995, she was appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court, where she served as both the first African American and first woman appointed to the highest state court in Indiana. During her time on the court, she authored more than 100 majority opinions, including landmark decisions regarding tort law reform and medical malpractice claims. In 1999, she retired from the bench and returned to private practice as a partner at Ice Miller. Upon her departure from the bench in 1999, the Indiana Supreme Court asked her to chair the newly formed Commission on Race and Gender Fairness. She continues to chair the Commission, where she leads the Commission’s efforts to study and make recommendations on increasing gender and racial fairness in the legal system. Her private practice is primarily commercial litigation with an emphasis in health care.[4]

This is what a qualified candidate looks like. The Republican led senate denied her a hearing.

The seat was filled in May 2017 when Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett.
