***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Mueller was FBI director for 12 years, completely apolitical so there will be a end.

and last time i checked, he ain't a fan of leakers either.
Comey was his boss. You think he ain't gonna go hard for his boy?

Couple things:

-The "there better be fire" talking point is ********. If Trump was innocent he should have just let Comey do his thing. Firing Comey was a terrible move that bordered on obstruction. Da optics were bad

-The real killer if true is Trump requesting the case against Flynn be dropped. That is obstruction, that could get him impeached, if it was the 1970s he would probably be considering resignation right now.

-Mike Flynn looks so ****** it is not even funny. Now the rumors have turned to possible treason. There is on thing to hop Trump gets past this but Flynn looks guilty as hell and Trump/Pence will look like fools because the let someone like Flynn background our intelligence

-This will be a "L" for Trump and the GOP no matter what, all that matter is how big an "L". Like what political price did the GOP pay for Bengahzi and Clinton's emails?

-I read some of the comments here and speaking with my friends I can all see the fockery coming from liberals. If you are a liberal do not worry about the results of this Russia probe, don't worry if Trump beats it. A few weeks ago things seems hopeless, the GOP was celebrating sentencing people to death and folk was impatient for midterms to come. Stay like that

Pence, Ryan or Hatch are just as dangerous. They will condemn the same number of people to death and poverty, they will look out for the rich. Liberals need to vote. Stop relying on quick fixes and vote. Trump and the GOP wouldn't even have the power they have now to inflict this kind of nonsense on the nation if all these apathetic liberals just showed up to the ballots more often

Russia, or no Russia, the biggest "L" you can give Trump is flipping seats blue all over the nation and voting his *** out in 2020.

they cried wolf, there better be a wolf.

Dems put their entire political capital, on this...dont miss, cuz da Trump vindication clapp black come re-election season gonna be fierce if he truly is squeeky clean.
That's common sense. Why do you keep repeating this ad infinitum?

Everyone already knows if the investigations yields no results it would be one gigantic L of astronomical proportions.

When can we expect Trump to be removed from office? The sooner the better. This guy is worthless.
Take a look at how long the Watergate investigation took.

Of course if Trump da straight shooter continues shooting straight into his foot that time could be drastically reduced.

But I wouldn't expect removal any time soon.

Comey was dead man walking either way, Clinton was gonna can him da second she stepped in da oval office had she won.

when Loretta Lynch compromised herself on da Tarmac & recused herself, Comey made it his prerogative to become part of da story.

Democrats wanted his head on a stick, so did Republicans.

da Mueller appointment is returning da story back to a apolitical process away from liberal & conservative spin, let da chips fall where they may.

heard Joseph Liberman in da running for director

If Trump legitimately wanted to fire Comey he should've done it as soon as possible after the inauguration.

He has the right to fire the director but nobody can deny the optics of firing the director right after that hearing is extremely bad optics. Look at the mess he's in now. He could've avoided all of this if he just acted rationally.

It's a really bad strategy that could have easily been avoided. Which was then made worse by contradictory statements from the WH and Trump himself explicitly admitting to Lester Holt he fired Comey because he thinks the Russia investigation has no legitimacy.

"The great negotiator", who prides himself on his marketing skills, did not show any resemblance of good PR strategy in this incident.

da"incidental" unmasking of private citizen wire taps in Trump tower ring a bell?
Last time I checked Obama doesn't work at an intelligence agency.

"Incidental unmasking" also isn't an accurate way of putting it. You're confusing incidental collection with unmasking and mixing them into one term. Incidental collection would not explicitly reveal the identity of a US citizen. That is where the unmasking comes in.

we're way past da point of bad optics, da media is out to get Trump, w/e he does will be cast in a negative light, so im pretty sure Trump factored that either way (as seen by da stories generated by da WaPo & NY times)

Trump hasn't had a public gaffe in a long time, all this media furvor is starting in da media.

but it did, hence where da wire tapping vindication came in. notice that story got put to bed already.
