Shouts out to LeBron for not partaking in the jersey name change for the terrorist organization black lives matter. He chose to keep his honorable name, given to him by his great great grandparents that were immigrants to this country.
Also, Washington’s football team gonna reName team tomorrow, hopefully it’s to the Washington Trumps. A team full of strong, healthy, handsome men With huge wieners.

Only one name he can really go with, no?

It’s very telling that every time a food or drink blogger or YouTube personality want to do a non ideological look at the history of a food or type of drink they immediately run into slavery/colonization/enslaved people invented or improved upon it/racist olde tyme ads/environmental degradation/continued exploitation of PoC here or in the Global South.

Every cocktail magazine and YouTube channel is in full solidarity with BLM and unafraid to lose rightwing subscriber mode and its great. Unlike some Fortune 500 companies, they’re not going through the motions either.

Keep in mind that Twitter is not like Weibo or any other social media platform geared toward Americans only. Anybody in the English speaking world can read what our senators, representatives, president, and other public figures post.

As estimated scholar and savant Pimp C once said, "you're embarrassing us"

Sugar? Check.
Coffee? Check.
Chocolate? Check.
Banana? Check. We even got a political term out of this.

Mitch McConnell believes that only those making less than $40k a year need a second round of stimulus. Need to keep the costs down because the $1.5T of PPP went to people like Dwalk and his wife who didn’t need it.
😄😄😄

What’s crazy is the real waste was the money sent to dead people..... but Mitch can’t talk about that because his side did it.

Didn't you say anything above 50k was above the middle class?

40k for individuals/80k households would put people in the "rich" category according to you, right?

Typically defined as follows:

Working poor - those making 30K or less per year
Lower Middle class or "Working class"- 30-50K
Middle Class - 50-99k
Upper middle class or "New Money" - 100K-350K
Upper Class or "Rich" or "top 2 or 3% of wage earners" - above 350K

That's typically how the IRS lays out the tax brackets and most economists define the different classes

But no, ive absolutely never said that. I said that 85% of Americans made less than 100K a year and you took great offense to that statistic despite IRS statistics that show otherwise.

But regardless, Mitch McConnell thinks that only the people making $40k a year are the ones struggling right now. That's the party you vote for because it allows you to steal money from people who really need it.

By your definition that would encompass the entire middle class. Because, as you said previously, the "upper middle class" is not the same as the middle class. At least that is what you tried to say when I said 100k-350k was middle class.

So with 50-99k being middle class, 40k for individuals and 80k for households would fall into that and it will probably phase out to about the 100k level.

This is not to say the threshold shouldn't be higher, it is just to highlight your silly proclamation that anything above 100k is no longer "middle class."

It's not, it is literally a different class. About 12% of americans make between 100K-350K. 85% make less than 100k a year. Just because you don't agree with the definition doesn't mean its wrong. Again, your argument is tired, lacks statistics or supporting facts, and is based on feelings. It has no basis in reality. Go ahead and continue to argue with feelings so it makes you feel better when you steal money from needy small businesses.

But yes, leaving out 80-100K incomes would leave out about 20 million wage earning people.

We also don't know yet if it is going to be capped at 40K or doubled for MFJ. I would also think that a bill with income caps at 40K would be dead on arrival.

You're right we don't know, but (again as you all often tell me in discussions like this) we can look at what was done for the previous stimulus.

That was at 75k for individuals, doubled for households, and phased out after.

So if it is done the same way, the entire middle class would receive a stimulus payment based on your definition of the middle class.

Surely you don't think upper middle class or rich households (by your definition) need a stimulus check. Or do you?
