R.I.P Trayvon

My man was stumbling...giving his life story...telling a joke?? huh???
This is by far one of the worse opening statements by a defense team ever.  This guy had all this time to prepare and looks like he doesn't know what he wants to say.  Dude up here telling "knock knock" jokes.  Hopefully that helps the prosecution.
dude def seems off in comparison to the first attorney...

i mean the first attorney knew EVERYBODY names from the dispatch to ole girl on the phone, times called started, times they ended, drew everything from memory..

then zimmermans attorney comes up there with the ill conceived jokes, stumbling and mumbling, calling people the wrong name, correcting himself mid sentence...

just seems like two diff levels of being prepared to me....i wont confess to knowing much about legalese tho..

I can't find no tv channels airing this wtf. :{

Okay Fox News is showing a lil something now.

Exactly their defense attorney is just unprepared like he threw this together last night...that joke would leave a sour taste in my mouth if I'm on the jury, like thats a complete lack of respect for the environment you have grieving parents of a 17yr old boy 20ft away and you have the gaul to tell a freaking joke? thats just classless in any circumstance and a true lack of respect; never mind dude can't even get his message out without long breaks and stumbling over the presentation.

The guy for the prosecution gave a textbook grade A opening, and knew EVERYTHING like it was the alphabet

HLN (headline news) is showing it with commercials. So it's not exactly live.

This defense attorney doesnt even know where homes are on the poster board... His tone is putting me to sleep. I have no idea what his angle is. He is rambling like he has lost his memory... jezzz

Also presenting inconsistencies in their story to boot :{ If you could play tapes of a great and horrible opening they would use these two as exhibits A and B of what to do and what not to do

"I'm not sure if you're following what I mean....... "

No sir, we don't.

Son got the attorney Damon Wayans had in "MO MONEY"...

GZ needs to stand up, pick up some pieces of paper, and do what Bob Barker did in Happy Gilmore.

Is it his plan to totally confuse everyone and everything around... You can't just say there was a robbery "around this area". Meanwhile pointing to 5-6 different houses... You know there are actual addresses that exist in police reports and you have that at your disposal. Get your facts straight... Have stickers or arrows that stick to that photo board. He is useless

I really thought having visual evidence, recordings, etc. would make for a truly compelling argument but boy was I wrong :x putting half the court room to sleep and presenting a weak argument on top of that, so its not as if they'd be missing much

Is there a time limit for opening statements??

No doubt.  I would have thought this attorney would have his opening statement together as well as his defense but he most CERTAINLY doesn't...........which is fine by me.

This is almost painful to watch. The struggle..... :x :lol

His breakdown of the neighborhood is on point though.

"These are all town homes, town home design" :lol
