STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Do you realize that you're not talking bout some regular *** people that go to LA fitness?? Lol. These guys are genetic FREAKS dude...just cuz you're bf% is low doesn't mean you'll look like you're abt to step on stage at the Arnold man... Lean lean lean... you can be lean as **** with low bf% and not be the all mighty "shredded"
Genetic freaks is jumping, running etc

It does not equate to level of leanness. You can not lift or exercise at all and be at 5% sure. At that point you'd be able to veins everywhere even when you have little muscle.

That was the whole point of this topic. The way NBA players and most people in general are measured for body fat is wildly inaccurate. Those numbers should be way higher than that.
They weren't measure with handhelds from GNC man lol. IF the readings were off they were + or - 2%.... which still puts way over 100+ guys at sub 10%

Genetic freaks look and perform like genetic freaks... you don't perform like one and look like a Joe walking around

Going to have to agree to disagree man. If you think Kai Greene and Michael Jordan have the same body fat (disregarding all muscle mass) then yeah, ok

Do you know what body fat even is? I can be the most unathletic person in the world and be at 5% body fat.

Do I know what body fat is??

Do I think there are people in the NBA have sub 5% bf like some BB? Na I don't think... I know

These guys don't have your local personal trainers at the Y taking their measurements. This is just from this year.

If you look at JU you can tell he has the genes to cut to sub 10 and not be super restrictive on his caloric intake.

Bodyfat is fine and all but BMI is the biggest load of **** ever. BRB every IFBB is morbidly obese.

Got guys 6'7-6'8 weighing a buck 70-80 talking bout they not 5% bf

. Idk why people think lean equals shredded, aint no skinny fat dudes out there

These guys are basketball players guys.... lean, scrawny, wiry, long are words that describe them. They're not as big (swole, wide or whatever) as they look on tv

For such a broad and bulky looking player, Bron is pretty slim with shirt off, no Karamo. Dude has massive shoulders for his frame, lets not even talk about Dwight and his airbag shoulders.

Ray Allen could be close to 5% :lol

Just like my boy on the left is 6'5 and 190 standing next to Paul Millsap who is 250... Paul plays the 4 and looks big on tv man. Looks like a skinny 2 guard here lol. Ignore my boys horrible jeans lmao

Basketball players are lean as hell.. Some guys just look bulkier because of who you see them going up against on a nightly basis, plus the TV adding weight

Football players are the thick guys

Bobby Portis looks scrawny as hell in that pic lmao but that seems to be an old pic looking at the jersey

When I was watching him in summer league he looked like he had more meat (pause)
